I see you got the SCT X4 package. Was the $800 LiveWire TS+ package available when you were shopping around? It seems just the tuner is different but not sure what makes it worth more money. Just curious if you knew and why you chose the SCT X4 instead? Thanks for the help!

What’s the site I order the gear head tune ? Also does a down pipe and new exhaust helps with horse power ? Also after order the gear head tune is it recommended to send to a shop

I got it for my 2015 SHO NON PP and I don't run the tune anymore cause I had nothing but problems from day one and there are quite a few things you need to do that you don't get told up front and I spent so much money trying to get the car to run right but gave up and got mocked for asking for a revision. 1. Stiffer engine/transmission mounts- the transmission line pressure will be increased and the oem mounts can only handle so much torque and HP since they are made of soft rubber. 2. You have to drive it easy for about 100 miles in order for the computer to learn the shift points ie no WOT or hard pulls for a couple days. 3. If you have any powertrain failure at any point the tuner is not liable for anything breaking while tuned.

@@cleanriderjonez5247 heres my advice, I run a banks pedal monster (throttle booster) that doesn't affect reliability but it gives you the power sooner. With a tune from any company you gotta have stiffer engine/transmission mounts and you gotta make sure to stay on top of fluid maintenance. Also, if you have any failures of powertrain while tuned the tuning company is not liable. Idk why the tune didn't work on my SHO but I just run it stock with no issues.

What tune? I’d say you went with the wrong tune. Most of the good tunes you need nothing extra

Stcx4 and none for now. Plans on downpipes in the future, but I'm involved in other projects atm and its my daily rn

I have the Gearhead tune as well as ppe down pipes. It rips and the shifting is extremely good. Very much fun to drive. Best tune period.

Does the tune get rid of the soft limiter when revving the car at a standstill? Only question I had, this looks great otherwise

I don't know about gear head tunes but all livernoise tunes will remove the soft Rev limiter and remove speed cap.

Livernois is all but out of the game with the sho. The community no longer respects livernois. Very shady and arrogant business dealings in the past
