The “minutes silence” they held in which they essentially celebrated his life and made as much noise as possible for him for a minute straight seems to mean just so much more to me than silence. He was not his murder. He was a husband and father and son and a great friend and the fact that they celebrated how great he was rather than focus on the tragedy that was his death just seems like the proper way to send someone off. In my personal opinion anyway.
@furygeist3 жыл бұрын
I wish more in Western culture would do that. Celebrate the life lived, not dwell on their loss. There will be plenty of time to grieve, but the funeral is to celebrate the life. They are often so dour. I hate it. I really will try to have a bouncy castle and an ice cream bar at mine. Wheel me in to the wake to the opening theme of Jackass. I want ppl to laugh, dangit. I'd hire a clown but I have too many friends afraid of clowns so that's a no go. Maybe hire actors to come in and read ridiculous stories about times spent with me, then act like they realized they came to the wrong funeral. Have party favors. Do some dumb, memorable, funny crap. Then bury me arse up and plant a yew tree on my bum. Be irreverent. Just... Why does everyone have to be solemn and speak only good of the dead?

Please do Rose Pizem Its like the most famous murder case in Israel. There's a lot of info in English Her grandfather and mom had a romantic relationship and they got married. They began hating this little girl after they got her back from France. They abused her. She had no toys. Her only property was one set of clothes. She had no bed. Her mom forced her grandfather to get rid of her so he killed her and stuffed her body inside a suitcase and there her into a river. When a policemen found her he started crying next to the suitcase. When her mom found out she was dead she made a celebration cake. She was only four years old this case needs more recognition

Did you hear about an Uber driver that got killed by a 16 year old rider? This happened in Chicago in 2017. You should look it up, the whole story is insane! And it also shows the risks that these workers take everyday, it’s crazy!
@kirstyfoxx4 жыл бұрын
Agreed! I remember been in a taxi once with my parents when I was like 10 and the driver was telling my dad about a time someone sat behind him and stabbed him through the back of the chair 😱 luckily he was alright but I’ve always thought of driving jobs as being dangerous since hearing that!

@meggswaggs59654 жыл бұрын
Saddo she has done crimes from America before though
@mizzouranger1342 жыл бұрын
That reminds me of the case that’s the exact opposite and equally terrifying…. It was a drunk girl who called for an Uber and some creep pulled up (he had been driving around to bars hoping for this) and she just assumed it was her Uber ride. Because she was intoxicated and complacent about it she just got right in without checking it and the guy had the childproof locks on the car. He drove off she realized rather soon that he was not an Uber driver and he attacked raped beat and murdered her. It was so sad. She was a really successful smart beautiful young woman who had what seemed would be a really promising future. People get so complacent about Uber and Lyft when it can be absolutely anyone. Just because you have no record doesn’t mean you aren’t an absolute creep and predator. Can medallions (licenses) in New York cost an average of a million dollars… those guys aren’t going to do that part time or last minute as a way to be a predator…. Uber and Lyft however makes it incredibly easy and gives people a very false sense of security.
@ShayRenee4 жыл бұрын
When she was talking about how odd it was that he had so many photos of him posing with his guns and how that looked suspicious, all I could think was how common that is in America. I know several people who take photos like that. I honestly wish it was uncommon here.
@nthgth3 жыл бұрын
I'm American and I know zero people who have ever or would ever pose with a gun like that. (but several who have been photographed aiming/shooting one at a range). I'd say that's pretty odd even in the States.
@ShayRenee3 жыл бұрын
@@nthgth Maybe it depends on where you live in the US. I have relatives and acquaintances who have pictures like that as their Facebook profile pictures. And not just one or two, but at least a dozen. I live in "gun country" where you see billboards for gun expos all the time and signs outside every pawn shop advertising their guns for sale.
@nthgth3 жыл бұрын
@@ShayRenee fair enough, yeah that's nothing like here in NY. In that context I could see it, it's a more commonly accepted hobby so why not pose like you're proud of it? In NY though (as in the UK), that would largely just raise eyebrows. (Fairly or not)
@ShayRenee3 жыл бұрын
@@nthgth New York sounds preferable to me. I'm not a fan of the gun culture here in the Bible belt/Midwest. Too many insecure people with easy access to guns here (ie the fact that guns purchased at those expos have no background checks or waiting periods) that are all too quick to use them.

I love true crime and your videos are definitely my favourite. There's no effort to make it scary or ominous. The way you're just telling the story and you've clearly done a lot of research really makes your videos great. They're just done for the interest in the genre, not trying to make it all about monsters, just people. I really appreciate the authenticity of your content and just generally love it.

Hey, I know best friends moving away is scary and not super fun but I just want you to know my best friend who moved away 4 years ago across state and I are still best friends and talk every day. My high school friend group and I still talk 2 years after graduation. A best friend from elementary of mine still messages me sometimes even tho she moved to Las Vegas. Don't give up hope that you can make a friendship work even if they don't live near you.
@kaleidoscopic94954 жыл бұрын
I went through the same thing when my best friend moved away when we were teens. Now we're adults with new people who could be called "best friends" more local to us, but that label doesn't matter, we still pick up where we left off whenever we get the chance to visit, and have the same bond as we used to. It's natural and okay to drift apart/move closer to other people. It doesn't mean your friendship is over. You'll meet lots of new people in the years to come, too, and still get to stay in touch with your friend. What matters most is that you guys still care about each other no matter the distance. :)
@miabennett044 жыл бұрын
i'm so sorry sweetheart, i've been there. when i was younger i had two best friends, both at different times they were everything to me, the only people i trusted the most. one by one they both moved away, kerys moved to wales and paige moved to oldham. it hurt a lot and i blames myself even though it wasn't me at all. but eventually you find other people because soon you'll be much more open to finding new friends and spreading out a little bit more, rather than staying content with your one best friend, rather than holding on to someone that's moved away, still keep contact but realise that you're going to drift but it's okay, you'll find friends you never thought you'd find and they'll be friends for life
