Taylor Swift finally addresses Vienna cancelled shows and Swifties are still divided

@@madisonjohns6607All tickets were refunded within 10 business days so all money spent were returned, that post was to not only sum up the london shows, but the entire european leg of the tour. Be thankful that you were able to get part of a post, as a full post and a whole post there is literally no difference at all. She didn’t need to speak about to, she could have cancelled it and put that hard moment of her life in the past and ignored it, but no. She took responsibility and publicly addressed to the fans her reasonings and sadness as to why she made the decision to not immediately speak out. Stop being entitled and accept the heartfelt apology she gave you.

Lot of people need to realize something: If something is under investigation, you can’t publicly speak on it as it might hasten them to act on their intentions or compromise the investigation. Vienna Swifties can’t be mad at her for remaining silent like she did. It is very entitled to think she needs to speak out on something that could put people at risk or put her into legal troubles for compromising an investigation. She also probably needed time for her legal team to find out what she can or cannot say about the subject.

Taylor did what she needed to do to keep everyone safe, I’m sure she is heartbroken over this whole situation but she made the best decision for everyone.

I do think not making a bigger statement at the time was the right call, tensions have been running high and she has such a big platform that anything she said had the potential to cause further harm. Very sad that there was even anything to make a statement about though and sending love to anyone who's been affected (whether they were going to Vienna, going to London or feeling affected for other reasons) 💕

Anyone “disappointed” she was silent doesn’t know Taylor. If she could have spoken, she would have. It’s ridiculous to think otherwise, given how much she adores her fans. She tried to make up for it by streaming the Eras tour movie for free. Now go sit in the corner if you criticized her!

I dont get why anyone is divided. Be happy people are alive. It's just a concert, and there will be more. It's not the end of the world. Also, you don't think about the fact other people could've attempted an attack on the london show. That is how insane these types of people are. Use your brains people, and stop being selfish and pmsing, aka poor me syndrome. How about celebrating. We dont know how many lives could've been lost, and that list could've included tay. Look at the bigger picture here.

Some fans don’t understand how dangerous it is to respond to a potential terrorist act. They forget that it was the U.S. intelligence agency who tipped the Austrian authorities about it. Most likely, she was advised by them and not just her own team not to respond right away. These fans need to grow up.🤔

Austrian checking in. Could be there are still people on the run? Also if we get replacement concert that needs org and cant be done in a fortnight. I am totally fine with her adressing the whole thing more in depth later. Also Cornelius Street is legend.

I think all the active suspects are now in custody. Coldplay had their concert in Vienna a few days ago at the same place and it went smoothly with increased security. It'll have to be much later since Taylor's schedule is pretty much booked until the end of the year.

The silence felt weird, like being left hanging, but I assumed she was waiting until it felt safe, either after London or after the whole tour was done. It's so crazy that I couldn't get tickets to my own city that she's coming to (Miami) so I try to go all the way to Austria and then that happens 😑 why does this feel so impossible, I just want to see the eras tour 😭
