Aw, the fact that a Taylor Swift song made you cry is actually very endearing.

When Taylor sings “I’d think you were singing to me now” that’s when Marjorie’s voice comes in

I cry every time I hear this song. I was shocked that she had it on the tour set list. Hearing her sing it live made me cry even more lol

i lost my great-grandma to covid, the part where she talks about how she should’ve asked her questions, advice and how “every scrap of you would be taken from me” hits me so hard, cause we weren’t able to be with her in her last days, will forever keep in my memory the last day i saw her. taylor talked about how when you lost someone that young, you have a deep sense of regret of the things you never did with them, and oh boy how it hurts.

The operatic voice in the outro is her grandma. You skipped right past it when you were looking for it. You can also hear it after Taylor says, "and if I didn't know better, I'd think you were singing to me now." Taylor has been performing this on The Eras Tour and it includes that vocal track from her grandma, so she is literally sharing the stage with her grandma even though she's passed on. Fans usually light up their cell phone flashlights during the song.

If you want to get a good sob out of this, watch the lyric video on youtube. It's filled with little clips and pictures of Marjorie. she was an opera singer (you can hear her in the outro of the song) and the reason Taylor got into music, but she sadly passed away when Taylor was 13, so she never got to see what became of Taylor. She probably couldn't be more proud

Am I evil for loving this reaction because you cried during the bridge? 💀🤣 Well, that bridge is really something. It will make you remember your own memories of someone you love who already passed even if the memory is not the exact scenarios that she's singing about. It's the feeling! 😭

I was very close to my grandmother and I tear up at this song every time. She captured that particular bittersweet feeling when you think about a loved one who has passed. ❤

Her grandma's voice can be heard at the very end, she's singing the "ooh ooh" in the back (opera singer). Brady please react to her song "Timeless", it's so beautiful.
