Maybe it was because of people digging around at her dating history all the time and she wanted a safety net if their relationship was rocky and she didn't want people to always focus on that when digging around so much later in the future if they ended their relationship for whatever reason? Like if new people become fans and look into her history they'll see her exes and such but then when looking into the writers on the music her ex won't necessarily be credited but a pseudonym would be to draw attention away from that. Obviously now, they've had a lot of drama surrounding the end of their relationship and if he's name was openly credited on the album, people would see it and dig around more. I dunno, just some thoughts. Not everyone takes the time to look up each individual writer for a song or album usually but I remember being a kid and getting a new CD and reading all the credits for the writers and people who worked on the album while I listened to it. You don't always know who is who in the credits unless you know who they are beforehand so that's my opinion 🤷‍♀️
