I don't know why everyone is griping about the editing. It's very on theme for reading a diary from your teen years. I think it's cute! Always love your content Tay. You always say how you are a creature of habit but you are always making changes with your channel and I love it! Doing things the exact same all the time is just not sustainable. You are still Tay but you give us something fresh to look forward to often and it's great!

Wise words from Taylor: If there is something you really want to do just go for it! If one door closes try another one. If that one closes find a window push it open and force yourself into that room. Once you get in there, work really hard and make people realize that you belonged in there all along. Because you belong in every room.

video request: trying the recipes I learned from the models I lived with
@lindseystein96764 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t sound like that would be too healthy with the way Taylor was talking about how little they ate...
@liepaok3024 жыл бұрын
@@lindseystein9676 in the back of her video she said she learned new recapies, I dont think a recipe can be bad in general, it's the food portions you eat in.
@Sc4r4byte4 жыл бұрын
I feel like, even if the portioning was unhealthy, that could be a very impactful focus of the video. "Woops, you clicked a video about what models eat? well models eat low self esteem as the first ingredient."
@liepaok3024 жыл бұрын
@@Sc4r4byte she wasnt talking about the recipes in a bad way, Tay was living with models from across the world, they all grew up with different traditions surrounding them, I really don't get where you guys even find a negative point in this...

Tay, I love how encouraging and positive you are! I wanted to model from the age of 13 and yet I had bucked teeth and so I begged my parents for braces! I wore braces my entire H.S. Years and got the braces off just before Senior pictures! I was not popular at all in H.S. and a bit of a wallflower but not even one year after graduation I won the title of Miss Illinois USA 1980 (yes, I’m an older gal- 58). I’m in TOTAL agreement with you, if you want something bad enough and are willing to make the sacrifices you can do anything you want to do!!! Love your channel Tay! 🤗
@rachelcookie3212 жыл бұрын
I’m 16 and I really want braces, my parents said I could get them but I know we can’t really afford them and if we bought them then it would mean I would not be able to do other stuff which is really important to me.

Your first night in Japan sounds so similar to my first night in Paris on my study abroad semester. I was SO excited to go, it had been a dream of mine, but as soon as I arrived I was an anxious, terrified mess and wanted more than anything to go back home. I struggled a lot for a month but after that, I started to really embrace the experience while I could, and it turned out to be one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life. Like you said, it was a turning point in my life that changed everything. Life happens outside of your comfort zone.

Yes please, more stories!! This was so interesting. I'm impressed by what you did at the age of eighteen. When I first went to Japan, it was when I was nineteen, but under completely different circumstances. It was to study abroad, so while I also had to figure out lots of things on my own and experienced what living in a dorm was like, I at least had a fixed schedule and didn't have to deal with people constantly judging me. Can't imagine what it must have been like to try and keep your measurements the same, when you had to adjust to a completely different diet and lifestyle!
