If I were to really stop and think about it, even if I were dating a gorgeous single-mother who didn't want to have any more kids, there are too many logistical problems with it. 1) Single mothers always make it clear that you won't be their priority. In fact, you'll probably be dead last, even behind her pet dog or cat. 2) You'll have no authority as a man should, in that setup, and the kids will never truly respect you. You will always stand in the shadows of their father, EVEN IF he is never around. 3) Even if a man doesn't immediately want kids, most men want the OPTION to change his mind and perhaps have a child/children. 4) By the time you meet a single mother, she is probably emotionally spent, damaged or broken, and has very little to offer, assuming she even wants to offer anything at all. Not only do you get what is left over AFTER other men have come and gone, what you get is given RELUCTANTLY, and with some measure of resentment. A single mother will almost never want you because she loves you, but because she is TIRED, and looking for support. That means YOU give and never receive, and she receives and never gives. There is no universe in which this translates into a good deal, for ANY man.

I'm a geezer, went through the hell-hole of the sexual revolution/feminist revolution in the 1970s, married twice, several long term girlfriends, short term girlfriends etc etc. In my life, and ive lived a lot of places and have known a lot of people, but Ive met exactly ONE woman with a child in my life that I should have pursued more seriously. It was my choice to stop seeing her and that was a mistake but I just wanted to make the point that I found exactly one woman in my entire life, with a kid, that was worth pursuing. 2:20 I am 46, gen x, and I grew up well aware that men generally take time to grow into the roles life calls them to. In my mind, as a younger man, I tended to excuse some behavior from some women because I thought they just didn't know any better. in 1995, when I graduated from High School, the girls my age who were thinking about getting married were looking for older, more successful men. I didn't judge them for that. It made sense to me. But the 304's who were just tossing their snatch around to whoever they pleased knew they were probably hurting their chances to get married, and they accepted the consequences. This was in rural NC, not a big city. Just normal people who knew that being loose when you were young had consequences. in 2023, that generation of women I grew up with lied to y'all. They lied to each other too. They lied to themselves. They jumped from man to man telling themselves each one was worse than the last, but eventually they would find their prince. They didn't ask themselves if the prince was going to want them. They didn't make themselves into the kind of woman that a self-made man wants to have for his wife and mother of his children. I made mistakes too. I got a girl pregnant when I was 19. That put me way behind where I thought I would be by now, so it took a while for me to get here while paying child support. I worked hard, like most people do, to get the things I need and some of the things I want. The difference is, ladies, traditional men intending to make their wife a housewife don't care about your money or your career. It is very simple, there is 0 pressure on women to spend one thin dime on a man. Whatever money she makes is hers to do with as she pleases. And in my house, that is how it is. Because I am a traditional man. But in order to share my life and resources, I require a traditional woman. There is a huge gap between a traditional woman, who moves in such a way as to show that she is grateful for the life that she leads and loves her family and God, and a modern woman who believes she is entitled to things. You are entitled to your personal space, common decency, and whatever you earn in this life. Nothing more. You are certainly not entitled to sit on your behind all day, contribute nothing to the world around you or the life of the man taking care of you, and have your needs and wants catered to. And yet, modern women expect all of that, as well as the freedom to say whatever damn fool thing comes in to her mind to say, wear what she wants, speak how she pleases, and be disrespectful on a whim and still be entitled? Nope.
