Taylor, I’m a mom in my 40s and have been watching you every day since the beginning of your 2023 thru hike. I found your last thru hike videos a few months ago and enjoyed seeing you and Cody. I’ve been in a slump since my Dad passed away suddenly in 2020 and your positivity, determination and optimistic attitude inspired me to get up early every am to try to run again. I’m not yet where I was years ago but I already feel so much better mentally. Thank you for sharing your inspiring journey with us! With gratitude from another Dunkin’’ fan in MA ☕️🏃‍♀️🥰

$4 … sorry for your lost and happy that Taylor had a positive influence on your life. She’s a wonderful young lady to follow. Glad you’re running again. Running is a wonderful stress reliever. I do it to relax and to reflect. Hiking is also a wonderful way to get out in nature to do the same. I’m sure, your dad was a wonderful father and hope the running/hiking is a great way to reflect on the wonderful times you shared with him.

Hi. I'm vicariously living through you. I've hiked and backpacked the AT through the smokies, shenandoah. and harper's ferry. I was in my early 20s and was running half marathons too. Keep moving throughout your life. You're a brave backpacking warrior i can see, so you'll probably be as stubborn as i was at your age. I wish you luck, and perhaps I'll meet you on some trail in a few months, after i recover from knee surgery. By the way, I'll be 70 in the fall. I totally plan to do some kind of AT hiking after i get back into shape. You are inspiring me. Thank you. PS. You are so brave. The wild hogs and bear used to keep me up at night. Good for you.

I know you love your dunks, but anyone else staying at that same hotel on route 11, you should go to the Middlesex diner that's right next to it! Best diner in the Carlisle area! I've seen a few hikers there before. Also the Darlington shelter past the overlook is the first place I ever back packed. Great privy! Good luck on the rest of PA 😊

Hi there! I'm a 24 year old man, so idk if I'm necessarily your target demographic lol, but you've kinda inspired me to start hiking in my area ngl. Now I need to get gear and make sure I'm prepared >.< I feel it'd be so nice just to be outside seeing nature while performing a much needed level of exercise in my sedentary life. I'm amazed by your speed! I hiked the Morgan Percival loop yesterday and it was only 6 miles and it took me close to 5 hours. You make me wonder about how fast I could get if I hiked the AT everyday. But I don't think I'd ever be able to hike 20+ miles a day... anyway! All that to say congrats and safe hiking!! 🎉😊

Lemongrass essential oil helps with keeping the bugs away as well as peppermint oil as a deterrent for fleas, mice, moths, flies, and more. It is also great for sprained muscles, headaches, and more. Just need a carrier oil if used on your skin. Olive oil, grapeseed oil, and coconut oil are good ones. I personally prefer grapeseed oil. Plenty little places along your travel that sell those products. Premade or diy.
