I don't think Batswana shouldn't do that at all. Africa shouldn't commercialise itself and end up soulless like America where people's worth is tied to how much money they have. Granted, all societies worship wealth and wealthy people but to reach the level of commercialisation of America would be way too tragic for Africa. We don't want our future generations dumping the vulnerable into care homes and only visiting to see if they are still alive and getting upset if they haven't given up the ghost

@@arltklm8322 I know! We are amazing just as we are. We don't want our lives so commercialised that human contact goes down to zero. What I find most impressive about Botswana is that when it gained independence in 1966 it was one of the poorest and least-developed countries with next to no 'colonial infrastructure'. Having started from a very low base, today it is one of the richest countries in Africa & all the development that has and is taking place the Batswana people can take all the credit for it. They have bucked the trend, where some countries, before independence had very good infrastructure albeit to serve a few, post independence instead of building on or even maintaining what they 'inherited' they have regressed or are regressing. Kudos to Botswana, hopefully her people continue to guard the legacy jealously & be a torchbearer for the continent!

@Jonathan Kita We are not adding T to everything for vibes, it is the language that dictates. Ts, Tsh, Tsw vs s, sh, sw all sound different. Setswana and Seswana are two different things.
