Thank you. The instrument input is mandatory? I use backing tracks.

I’ve been trying to contact helicon but I haven’t got any luck, do you have a way to try running recored music through it see if it works ?

I connected my iPhone to the input playing a song ane connected a mic. The harmonies didnt sound right. I found a video on KZbin of someone who used it for karaoke and it seemed to work for him. Video is in Tagalog though. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5PFn3Zsr6d2bpYsi=rNCM4C6L7ICIPHAX

I sing karaoke would I be able to run it through the instrument input?

I don’t think so? It uses a guitar or other instrument plugged into the instrument input to figure out the harmony parts based on the chords being played. It then adds those to the vocal from the mic. You can try sending your question to the TC Helicon people.
