Great product demo! Really, thats how it should be done. I can't sing a lick and I want to go get a TC Helicon Acoustic. Emma was a class act.

This is the best demo I've seen of the play acoustic, before this it all sounded kind of robotic. She sounds human and very good. Just goes to show the artist matters as much as the product. Plus it wasn't rehearsed so it was like discovering the product.

Gentle acustic guita and a sweet calm voice is the perfect match to Show what this gear can do. Customers like Emma will really benefit at gigs in a small noisy Pub with lousy accoustic for sure. As listener I sometimes had the Feeling that gentle voices sometimes lost frequencies and Expression in cases like that. With the right gear you can add a Little bost without having to crank up the volume.

Body res(onance) is fantastic. Nice demo. Haha on the Autotune™ reference. I could see metal bands leaving the harmony on with pitch down for a little DevilHorn® effect. Really nice that there's beat-matched delay and such too.

The robotic harmonies destroyed everything, but when she was using just an adaptive tone, I like it. As she said, it adds more clarity and air to your voice. Seems like you actually need to learn how to sing but at least it can give a 10-15% boost to your voice when performing live.

This is definitely one of the better reviews of a vocal harmony pedal - man there are some real stinkers out there - but why in every video, including this one, do they have the harmony so wet? My opinion is that all vocal harmony pedal only sound okay when not overused. It changes based on the input gain and the type of pedal being used but I'm usually reluctant to go any higher than 25 percent. I wish they would back off with these demo videos so you can hear what the harmony function sounds like when used properly..

Good morning. Can you tell me which is better? Helicon play acoustic or voice live play gtx. And I sing and play guitar. please I would like to know if you can tell me if the boss ve8 is better than the helicon.I do not know which one to buy.
@Allanfrancisxavier7 жыл бұрын
cadinho santos Great question. TC helicon play acoustic is the best. There's few things you don't get with TC us delay on the guitar. But boss VE 8 sounds great for the acoustic guitar. If you are advance guitar player and you can set up manually then boss Is the way too go. Granted it's a bit more expensive. Also there's Digitech vocalist. Which is really amazing it seats right with the other two products. Way cheaper. I think it's about 199USD. But if you don't want to worry about it more and you want great tone, patches, harmony, etc right out of the box. Then easy choice TC helicon play acoustic is your choice. I've ordered one myself.

+tommy tkristensen I doubt it, not sure but it has an expression pedal input on the back, just buy a cheap pedal, then you can adjust the settings levels and probably use to control other effects
@josephjimorris4 ай бұрын
The pedal jack is for an expansion pedal like the TC Switch 3 or 6. It adds extra footswitch buttons that can be programmed. It’s not an expression input as far as I know.

Either that mic sucks or the gain needs turning up, because unless she's almost swallowing it, the vocal drops away, and so does the harmony. The problem with that, is the popping of plosive sounds ("b p" etc) sounds amateurish.
