Hi Guys. So the differences between the Maj1, Maj2, Ma3 are just a straight C triad, Cmaj7 and C7??

Heya, here's a link to our scale chart. That might give you some insight into the note choices. support.tc-helicon.com/hc/en-us/articles/228164287-Scale-chart-for-TC-Helicon-products

Hey guys, can you upload the setting ? That would be awesome

these are always great ,thanks...Is there a Bohemian Rhapsody preset(s)?
@tchelicon9 жыл бұрын
+Bryan Eddy That's a very difficult sound to pull off. The times I've seen it successful are with products that can do custom scales for each voice or ones that run MIDI notes for each individual voice to really nail the intervals.

do you guys have a video on how to make your own guitar and vocal effects. i am worried that if i try i will screw up all of the pre sets on my voicelive 3. how about a make your own pre set for dummies video please?
@tchelicon9 жыл бұрын
+JESUStheATHEIST1 We can definitely look at doing a "community chest" on creating your own preset from scratch! Keep in mind that even if you do "screw up" the factory presets, you can always get them back either within the unit (each device has instructions in the manual) or via VoiceSupport.
@JESUStheATHEIST19 жыл бұрын
TC-Helicon that would be great,also is there a place where we can upload and download pre sets to share with other owners/users? voice support seems to have only the ones you put on there.
@tchelicon9 жыл бұрын
+JESUStheATHEIST1 Not yet, but we are working on ways to allow our users to share presets. It's a big "cloud" type endeavor though, so we're taking our time to get it right. Not sure of an ETA for any kind of working system at this point, but it is something we're excited about.

TC-Helicon thank you very much and i look forward to your making presets for dummies video. cheers and keep up the good work.

are we able to use any of the voice presets from the old play electric on the vl3? If so how do I find them to download?
@tchelicon9 жыл бұрын
+mochi65 We haven't put any Play Electric presets out for VoiceLive 3. Not sure if that's something we'll do or not.

I'm starting to have trouble with some of the sound guys at places I play. they keep trying to override my VL3. I caught a guy adding delay and it clashed with what I wanted the effect to be in a section of one song. another guy kept trying to change my guitar level opposed to what I wanted it to be. before I set up a explain that I'd like two xlr channels with the pan toe out wide, no effects, run EQ mid even and they can make little tweaks to EQ if they need to and I will take care of the rest. some of them have a hard time with that. any ideas on how to relate to them better?

+mochi65 Great question! I think we'll cover this on the show.

Could I do that gang vocal and have it sound the same on a Play Electric?
@tchelicon8 жыл бұрын
+Tristan Miller You can't get exactly the same sound, but I'd experiment with the following: 1. High & Low Harmony (if you want actual harmonies in there) 2. Octave Up & Dn doubling 3. uMod Thicken Some combination of those can get you a pretty big sound from a Play Electric. If you don't go the harmony route, try using Octave Up & Dn on the Harmony block and then choose one of the "wide" or "loose" doubling sounds to compliment it.

I'm REALLY DISAPPOINTED that I bought the Voicelive 3 and then one month later the Voicelive 3 Extreme was released. Had I known it was coming I would have waited. :(
@tchelicon9 жыл бұрын
+magicbuskey We've certainly heard that a fair number of times. The only thing we can reasonably say is that no matter when we announce a product there will always be someone who recently purchased another. Without a time machine we can never fix that completely. VoiceLive 3 was on the market for 16 months prior to the release of the VL3X.
@magicbuskey9 жыл бұрын
+TC-Helicon Really? Because this channel started heavily promoting the Voicelive 3 right before it released the Voicelive 3 Extreme. We're a fledgling Music Production company and every dollar counts right now. We subscribed to this channel so we could keep up with your latest technologies in an attempt to make good purchasing decisions when expanding our business. We're huge fans of your products so we trusted your channel for that information.
@tchelicon9 жыл бұрын
+magicbuskey We have been making videos for VL3 since launch, which is fairly common especially for our more complex products. As I said, if we "give warning" about a product announcement, then it's just announcing it earlier, which will have the same situation you found yourself in happening to someone else.
@magicbuskey9 жыл бұрын
+TC-Helicon I do see your point. I would like to point out that it seems like a good marketing move for TC Helicon, in the short term, to "push" old inventory right before a new release. It's short sighted because customers get unhappy and start looking for solutions elsewhere. If I've understood you correctly, you're the marketing company. My beef is with TC Helicon not you. You were just promoting the products (very well I might add) on their request.

Whatever happened to just singing?
@tchelicon9 жыл бұрын
+67foxcharlie The tools we've put in singer's hands have traditionally been operated by someone else, for better or worse. The focus is absolutely still on singing, presenting a great show and connecting with your audience. We just think it's important for a singer to have options to control their sound, just like a guitarist does.
