I was going to say that if you put a weight on the bag it won’t need a pump. Then I looked in the comments. Could also use a displacement bag and use compression from the engine.

Honestly your issue is you need to put the bag in a water tank and place weight on top of it. With a lid. You will get the desired pressure instead of wasting time and energy on a o2 pump. As you use the gas the bag sinks do to methane being lighter than oxygen.

I'm pretty sure you should be using the negative pressure regulator. Not the first stage green one that's just too steep down the high pressure gas bottles down to around 3psi. The silver one though doesn't step down the pressure it's a special kind of regulator. It operates on the vacuum of the engine so wherever the engine is sucking on its fuel stroke it opens. Right now any time there's no vacuum in the intake manifold your bio gas is just flowing backwards to atmosphere through the air filter.

So another word you can't leave this unit alone when you finally get it running properly because if it stops running the gas escaping into the room means you can have the same problem that was found when they shipped manure in bales for fertilizer they fixed that problem by putting on the bales ship high in transit so the bales didn't get wet causing methane gas production and the ship to explode with the first spark later shortened to it's initials the solution if you don't or can't use the carburetor is at least have a electric solenoid valve hooked up to the generator with a bypass button so when the generator stops the valve shuts and the gas no longer flows

America does have 220 volts that's what welders, ovens and dryers run on. Next you have the carb on there still. You have to open the throttle blade butterfly as it would when the engine is reved up by the governor. Thats why it's choking out

that pump is most likely single phase 220v ac, not split phase 220v ac.

There are videos that show people doing it! First run through normal water to dissolve carbon dioxide then through some cat liter to dry the gas and finally through some steel wool to neutralize the hydrogen sulfide!

You would have better results if you compressed the methane into a propane cylinder.

You should probably scrub the Methane to get rid of the carbon dioxide, Hydrogen sulfide and the water content. It would likely run much better. Perhaps pressurizing it in a gas bottle wouldn't be a bad idea either!

@@byekwasosteven2730 Yeah, if you run the gas through a couple of barrels of water it should remove the carbon dioxide. two or three barrels oughtta do it, and you should have some nice clean gas. The carbon dioxide is scrubbed as it bubbles from the bottom of the barrel to the top and bonds with the H2O. A simple couple of lengths of pipe filled with steel wool will scrub the Hydrogen sulfide before it gets to the first barrel of water. After that you can run it through some dry activated carbon to remove moisture. Hope that helps!

doc jay, in the USA the power coming into the home is 220, but it is split at the fuse box into 2 lines of 110 to 120. Which then is wired to the outlets. There are some appliances that use 220 and are used on a dedicated 220 line.
