I can not believe I found this video! My dad has worked at Coleto Creek Power Station for 40 years, I grew up in the area and Smashing Pumpkins is my ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND! It was the first band I ever saw live in Austin when I was 16. Years later I saw them again with my daughter in Austin when she turned 16. My first EVER art show was in Kennedy, Tx! Love this! I am from this area!

The Hanging Tree is probably pretty creepy at night. :-/ My hubby's band played at Washington Square in South Beach (back when SoBe was cool) and their band did play with Smashing Pumpkins before they were big. :-) They also played with Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids, before MM became famous and the "Spooky Kids" part was dropped. Cool guys!

At 36,000ft the air is around -56c & the combustion chamber of the typical engine can get up to around 1,400c, The typical commercial jet engine sucks around 1.2 tons of air in per second (which gives it it's massive thrust). All you are seeing is *_Vapour_* that has been super heated creating essentially a long cloud. There's no conspiracy, no magic, just science :)

Smashing Pumpkins were one of my favourite bands as a teen, I also was told by many a stranger I looked liked billy corgan in my youthful thinner days. The nests were probably barn swallows. Where I used to work we'd get them building nests like that in the eaves of the building and we couldn't do anything about them because they're a protected species.

Swallows and swifts build mud nests such as you saw, usually under eaves or highway overpasses. They eat huuuge amounts of bugs, usually in early evening. Their acrobatic flying is on a par with bats.

I am in my 30s and have a husband and 3 children. We do not have Internet or television at home. If we want to use the Internet, we do so at work or go out to a coffee shop. It has made are lives a lot more productive and interesting, I think. We go on a lot more adventures, play a lot more board games, talk to each other, and read a lot more books. We find we get addicted to tv and Internet when around it too long.
