I thought the same thing but then again if you're getting buried in your Ferrari who gives a rats ass about your headstone. I probably would have made sure my headstone at least said 'HAHA you CAN take it with you when you go!' just because I'm a smartass like that!

Sandra: "Coroner’s report indicated that she had overdosed on a combination of barbiturates and codeine, though how she obtained these drugs in light of her doctor’s instructions and in the presence of a nurse was never determined." Husband: "He had a history of drug use and health problems caused by rapid weight fluctuation. He died under mysterious circumstances at the Las Vegas Flamingo Hotel in 1968."

Billo1281 The river walk is nice. most of the time it's cooler along its walkway then at street level. And at Xmas the trees all have lights on them. with a boat of carolers floating by stopping in places. Lots of tourist places along there too. Hard Rock Cafe, Rainforest Cafe, planet Hollywood, several good steak and seafood places.

My eldest daughter lives in San Antonio, and my youngest daughter got married on that island that you showed. Brings back memories, of boat rides on the Riverwalk. And nearby is Schillertbahn...(SP?) voted best waterpark in the country. Had much fun there too. Also, tubing down the Guadalupe river....many fun things to do in the area.

Hopefully you will see this, but you if you're ever up north, specifically Illinois, you have to check out Springfield and the surrounding areas. In Springfield there are several spots about lincoln, including his old neighborhood, the church he went to, his old practice, the trainstation he departed from, and his body was returned to be buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery. These are all fascinating places, and I think you would have a good time. But that's not all! If you go down old 36 from Springfield toward Decatur, you will go through many small towns including my hometown of Illiopolis, the center of Illinois. Just outside of town during WW2 we had an ammunition plants. While they no longer stand, you can still see the smoke stacks. Illiopolis has a really nice (albeit dead) downtown area that has the old store fronts. If you keep going down old 36, you will hit Decatur which has a lot of neat historic buildings including old theaters that are still in operation. They're called The Avon and The Lincoln, both of which are haunted. There's also Greenwood Cemetery which is BEAUTIFUL, and one of my favorite cemeteries. It's old, and has beautiful headstones and mausoleums. Please come check it out! If you do, let me know and I can show you the ends and outs around here.

I have a degree in history and had to do a research paper in the Menger. The Menger was not a brothel, it stared out as a a brewery but William Menger. He later added a bar, when people was passing out from his brew, he built a board eons house that turning tints the hotel we have now.

ADAM PLEASE VISIT MANOR TEXAS! there is a house that is abandoned and with it another 2 other barns, The walls are weird, a staircase that has very small steps, A door that leads to nothing, Its crazy! but the view is really cool...I don't know what happend with the owners of the house, Me and my dad were thinking it was a radioactive thing going on. But whats weirder theres no spray paint, No junk (besides rust from old car parts), And just nothing littered around or trashed. I believe it was a start of a neighborhood right besides it but it never finished.

One day Adam's Adventures will be over and behind him (NO Time SOON, AdamTheWoo), anyhow, you are so right... he would have something to look back on and say "I remember when" and something to give to his child(ren) if he decides to have any someday, something to pass his adventures down too. Awesome Idea, Missy Cat...seriously!!!!

7:04 - They filmed part of the Knight Rider sequel movie "Knight Rider 2000" in the River Walk too. The parts where the car was driving on the water were done there.

Before I got to comment you mentioned Cloak & Dagger. That's awesome. Probably didn't see that movie in 30 years and recognized immediately.

7:23 I was almost that person in I think that exact spot. Visited San Antonio in June and did the River Walk cruise with my family. My BIL hands me a ticket and I drop it. A small breeze blew it in to the water and I dashed down to retrieve it and almost went in. I did get the ticket. Oh and for those that don't know, I think except for a few areas, if you fall in just stand up. The water will only come up to your knees. :)

The Menger Hotel opened on this date in 1859. Pretty cool you went there the day before.
