Hi, Miroslava! I just saw your comment. How's this trick going? If standing up is the issue, try keeping your hand down at nose level. We often gets dogs standing up when the hand is too high. They feel they need to reach for the treat and stand up to get it. I have a video with another dog now. You can see if that one helps more. The new dog is less "educated" in general.

You're not the first to ask this! That dog was being fostered at the time and has since been adopted into a loving home. Deaf dogs don't come through too often. I'll see what I can do.

Hey! I had the same issue with my beagle as he's very stubborn. What you can do is get a small treat and hold it at Their nose, when they catch the smell just move the treat backwards and try not to take it any higher than the nose level. Hope this makes sense

try keeping the treat low so that she/he doesn't feel like he/she needs to stand up to get the treat. Also, if she does stand up don't reward her for it.

I tried teaching my dogs a few different tricks, I taught her how to roll over months ago and recently I tried teaching her sit pretty which she picked up well, but I find when I try practicing either with her she’s getting confused, I’m asking her to roll over and she’s sitting pretty and vice versa? Do you have any advice?

Are you practicing them back to back or during the same session? For new tricks, stick to one at a time for shorts bursts. Are you using similar hand signals for both of them? She might be picking up on your body language and getting confused. Be sure to hide your treat, say the cue once, then bring out your treat hand and silently give them the hint. You can also try doing "roll over" while you're crouched on the ground with her. Unless she's very small it would be hard to mistake that kind of body language for "sit pretty."

You can lure with toys or teach this with targeting, too. However, what treats are you using? Dogs have a food pay scale. Their work needs to be worth the "paycheck" you're offering.

@@familyniwano4638 are you talking about the treats made by Purina? If so, I usually don't consider anything that comes in a bag labeled, "treats" to be highest possible motivation. There are dogs at are exceptions to that rule. However, those aren't generally the best possible options for harder tricks or higher expectations. When I say "high value treats," I'm talking about stuff like lunch meat, cheese, peanut butter, chicken, etc. It can be amazing what a dog will do for chicken!

Atta Pup! Yes I am using the Purina ones, I have tried using all sorts of those things and adventurous have worked the best but still not enough to motivate her, I might try peanut butter again 🤷🏼‍♀️she is very fussy😂

@@familyniwano4638 does this happen with every trick? Sometimes, dogs just don't like certain ones. For example, my one dog used to absolutely hate roll over. I don't know why. He would roll on his back independently just fine, but he hated doing the trick. So, we didn't push it. He learned A LOT of other tricks with no issue.
