Wow, that's actually interesting because I always hated when teachers yelled at kids and stopped the class or whatever. When this happened, we got no work done and we were behind. It was also pretty distracting from doing work if I tried.

As a teacher I can't imagine yelling at a student to make a point. However I can understand reaching a breaking point having to deal with disrespectful students for 30+ plus years.
@faberdeleon98142 жыл бұрын
Honestly I remember some high schoolers would straight up bully teachers. Like, male football senior threatening a little old Spanish lady. If most people had to be in that position for a day they'd break.
@thesonski932 жыл бұрын
Another problem is, is that trying to make kids go to school and then learn something they have zero interest in is a chore to do, I hated school, and I hated learning! when I was at school, the last thing I wanted to do was to learn, I just wanted to mess about with my friends or chat up girls, that was my main priority in life at that age.

@@xzelarate8980 i do too. in some contexts. for example, when the student starts shit and the teachers are asking them to stop patiently and politely, maybe they should listen. (or don’t-yolo) but when the teacher has something to say first, which is most scenarios, the student should be able to fight back. adults (teachers) think that they can say whatever the fuck they want to kids and get away with it, which in my opinion, is such bull crap. students shouldn’t get punished for standing up for themselves from bullies who are grown-ass adults. however, and i contradict myself here, if a student initiates a problem, there is only one way to deal with it in my eyes-to handle it maturely and be polite. if that fails, teachers shouldn’t immediately go to screaming, cursing, and yelling offensive slurs. kids act like kids-immature, crazy, aggressive at times, even. but these teachers should learn how to deal with it more authoritatively and like adults should.

Best way to handle that as a teacher is to allow him to finish and encourage all attention be on him. I remember when I went to a school that was connected to the high school and middle school. Our bus driver hated me because I was the little sister of my two older brothers. My mom bought me a jacket with headphones, I was listening to music and reading one day on the way home. She stops the bus, walks to the middle of it where I am sitting. She yanked the headphones out of my ear and yells at me to sit in the front, keep in mind that I was in elementary. My brothers asked why, she said it was because I was being "loud" with the other students. My brothers told me to stay where i was, my eldest brother takes out his phone and calls our dad whilst she's yelling at me to move. She grabbed my arm and took me to the front seats and threatens to kick my brothers off the bus to walk home (it was around 98° or so). My MOM gets there before my dad does and shit hit the fan. We got a new bus driver that week 😅 she was really nice, she used to work with my family before switching jobs.

I was the only kid that got into trouble on the bus. She even went so far as to put me in the seat closest to the door and wouldn't let me get off until everyone else was off the bus. The last straw was when she tried push me back into my seat because I tried to get off the bus first when someone else let me go in front of them. These teachers don’t get it. You don’t let students get into debates with you. If somebody isn’t behaving, you just give them detention and they have to stay after school. You don’t get into verbal warfare and lose your cool. If the entire class is criticizing you, then give them all detention. If they don’t show up, then let the principal and the family handle it.

A big problem in these situations is that most students purposely behave in ways that they know will make a teacher mad, they know all the right buttons to push. I saw it all the time when I was in school and currently see it happen at the school I work at, students will purposely do things to make a teacher mad but then if one day there's another teacher or a substitute the students are well behaved. Also one thing I've learned as an employee at a school is to never ever under any circumstance get close to a student and look like you're about to get physical or even touch them, that is how false accusations come about and you can get into serious trouble. That's how people lose their jobs, they lose their cool and say or do things they normally wouldn't do and get in serious trouble.

I seen some teachers lose their absolute shit in my day but 99% of the time it was baited by the class lol. We legit had one teacher who had some kind of alergy to something in a lot of perfumes, kids would get into the class early and spray her entire desk and chair with their perfumes and she would actually get really ill and have to leave. Kids can be kind of fucked up.
@shroomer38672 ай бұрын
True, kids can be little demons from time to time, but still you shouldn't shout at them, especially if you know that gives them a kick and attention they so crave. The teachers failed the most simple rule, don't feed the trolls.
