The pot calling the kettle black… we here in Italy would say: “il bue che dice cornuto all’asino” 😂😂😂 Hi Vanessa! I’m Alessandro from Italy and I’m very grateful for what you teach us! Okay, let’s try to translate and explain this Italian expression: “IL BUE CHE DICE CORNUTO ALL’ASINO”. This is very funny (😂) because, imagine a bull saying to a donkey: “hey donkey you got horns on your head!” Okay, in Italy CORNO means horns, and CORNUTO means with horns (horned)… but CORNUTO (horned) also means cuckold. So imagine in an Italian farm the bull calling the donkey horned when they meet… it is like the pot that calls the kettle black when the meet in a US kitchen 😂

The pot calling the kettle black..... In Mexico we have a similar phrase. " El comal le dijo a la olla, te estás quemando. I think that means in English.... the comal said to the pot, you're getting burn.... Actually both was getting burn.
