8:00 "At least you're aware!" L O L This is fantastic! I was smiling through the whole video. I think this is my favorite workshop excerpt so far, this lady is so authentic and it's the first time I've really seen someone "in the chair" that has had so much back and forth conversation with Teal (ie not just listening passively but asking Teal "Why do YOU think you're not a people person?") It was refreshing and it seemed like Teal found it to be a nice change if pace too. It also seemed like a fitting match for the topic, since Teal was basically saying you shouldn't trust that I know anything for 100%, because NOBODY knows anything for certain... Seems fitting that this lady was able to laugh and joke and ask Teal questions about herself (Teal) instead of just playing the role of a student seeking help from a teacher.

Yeah- I totally agree. It was a bit tables turned, and as strange it might have been, it was a great reminder to not take ourselves to seriously. This type of consciousness work can be so intense and heavy. It's good to see that type of silly, drunk clown energy on stage. It was like a cold shower for everyone including Teal.. and asking her that question of not being a people person.. and Teal responding that there was something about her not quite human... 😂 so good. And she makes that joke. How freekin' perfect. I think if I hear Teal say "I'm not quite human" in that like poker-face and with a quiet, submissive response from the audience, I would definitely have felt sick. I appreciate the laughter, just helps the medicine go down easier hahaha 😂😭🔥

Good for you! lol This really was my favorite Teal video so far, I've definitely never laughed so much from any of her other videos, and I think she's right, you did help make her message more relatable! And it was a nice reminder that healing and learning can be fun and silly and lighthearted, it doesn't always need to be so serious and heavy and sad! Thanks so much for making this video possible, I gained so much from it!

So true! I think it's similar to how people criticize Teal for giggling when she's talking. They find her laughing to be offensive, innappropriate, or shows she doesn't have empathy or tact, just because the topic she is talking about is heavy or serious... I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape about it. Maybe it's because I grew up in a family that used humor to lighten the mood during difficult times, and believes that it's ok to laugh when you make a mistake or do something silly. Just because someone's laughing doesn't mean that they're out of touch with their feelings or that they're laughing AT someone. Hmmm... makes me think about how some people are also uncomfortable with people who "smile too much" or make "too much eye contact"

Before this video, whenever I had conflicting wants/needs/thoughts I always had the mindset that one side of the equation must be wrong or worse still, that because there was not congruence, both parts may be wrong. I know better now! I also became aware of a sense of shame I felt for the cognitive dissonance and not knowing how to trust myself in a way that didn't feel like a betrayal of oneself. I'm so grateful to Teal Swan for this new understanding. Also, for the woman on stage for her original question and how honest she was with her level of understanding which led to an invaluable teachable moment.
@opiaopia55526 жыл бұрын
Laughing was cute for the first few minutes and I thought 'Finally somebody who is not that serious on the stage with Teal', but after that it was just irritating and foolish. Every time Teal tried to make something of the conversation or asked her question she would laugh, make a joke (maybe laughing was uncontrollable to some point but she was doing this on purpose, making a clown of herself and trying to be funny) and she couldn't even make two sentences without childish giggling. I see in comments that a lot of people liked that, but I think it was boring to watch and unproductive. I don't like when people are serious all the time but she was the opposite of that, which is not good either. Maybe she just wanted to have some fun time, not to have a meaningful conversation with Teal (there's nothing wrong with that, but it's uninteresting to watch).
@jroshau5 жыл бұрын
I agree. I seemed to me that the laughter became more of a defensive. Disarming any serious notion that was suggested. I do wonder if she had a honest question that she wanted answered, so it would be more applicable to herself, rather then a question which she stated was for the audience. I kind of played with the idea of how to get past such a defense too. I wonder how she would respond being asked to laugh. To take laughing seriously would kind of contradict the defense, tho I dont know for sure.

It’s a case of being ungrounded, ie completely detached from masculine polarity. Which is probably a result of not being at peace with her feminine polarity, so it explodes uncontrollably in bouts like this. When you reject a polarity, you become more that polarity

It's NOT a defense mechanism..! It's an ATTACK mechanism !... sorry Nat, but after all this time, I found it an aggressive covert narcissistic way of telling people who are suffering & trying to watch, that you don't give a rat's ass about their peace & well being..... and for the people who talked about joy, I have to say that there 's no joy in bad taste, disrespectful remarks and a boundary breaking noise coming from someone's mouth.... I know JOY & humor enough to tell the difference.. Natalie I wish you work on yourself & understand...
@shylascalf2 жыл бұрын
So basically. What I got from this is.. You learn to trust yourself by not trusting yourself. Because by not trusting yourself, you’re always leaving room open for what you don’t know. When you leave room open for what you don’t know, you’re never overconfident therefore you won’t trust yourself completely because we are incapable of knowing everything.

I really loved it! The guest is so happy and not trying to be someone. I remember long time ago I used to be the same as she was. And I truly miss it. At least she reminded me it and I can try to allow myself to be one. It is truly hard to analyze all cons and pros all the time which I so far stressfully and successfully been as. Doesnt mean that I have been that happy. Tha guest wasn't desperate either for the help. She expressed her current life's point of views of joy and well Teal tried to tell her that life is all about compromisses, even internally. So in this sentence I open door with right hand... And left hand keeps the door stuck forever. Really?... Yes I notice myself being also in this situation, but considering this view point as truth for whole life? What can I finish with this mindset/conciousness after all? In general, I loved the ladys presence and learnt alot. Thank You for the video.:)

It's sad that the people who expressed annoyance at the laughing are being invalidated. It's 100% valid to be annoyed at the constant interruption of the content. Also, for those who are saying things like "if the laughter triggers you, it's because it's reflecting your shadow side," ditto for if the expressions of annoyance trigger you.

She had fun, Teal had fun. I had fun. Yet you're all complaining and being judgemental, extrapolating that she was stoned, or drunk, or whatever. You don't know her circumstances. This is not fully related, but to compare it to something I have a condition that lets a lot of people believe that I'm often stoned. I don't even smoke. And even without this. If you can't get in the mood with both of them and the crowd, ask yourself why this is annoying you so much. I find her laugh to be contagious, and before reading the comments I would have never guessed so many people could get angry at what is a good feeling.

With all my love. Typical example of how insecurity is used as an excuse to be a little condescending and partially disrespectful. 😬 😅 that’s what people pick up on and why they are getting this upset feeling. Aware enough but still choosing to be out of control. Never trained the mind. How interesting that laughter can be distorting when it isn’t real. And even hurting herself 😬😅 Totally ignorant to how her own actions affect others. It is obviously normal and more than ok to be insecure but if it is constantly used to get your own way, it becomes quit disrespectful. Even if the higher mind folx chose not to be affected. The action stays the action. A lot of meditation work is needed in order to gain self control. If not for yourself then at least for the others. I wanna give this lady a big hug and a sound bath or something like that 😅 please meditate cute lady! Please meditate! 🧘🏽♀️🙏🏼 you are a co-creator of this reality! And it’s time to step up to that. You are very well capable of doing this!! If I were Teal, I would’ve given this lady what she wanted. I would’ve given her to stage and let her deal with her own creation. 😂 Much love to all of you and have a blessed NOW!

This girl is not high, she said it all herself: She's a Libra.

Neptunijanac libras are very airy people. They cant be grounded. They are very superficial and shallow. I have many libra friends . All are very empty and have a lack of an emotional touch to their personality. Sorry . Just my personal experience.

The first time that I watch this I was a little annoyed because I was at work and all I could hear was laughing, but I'm sitting down at home painting, listening to this and really enjoying This Woman's humor. I literally feel like I would be the same way if I met Teal tbh

Wow I felt two different sides of me. One side couldn't stop laughing the other side of me wanted to take this more seriously because I need to focus on what I need to follow through with my dreams. The serious side was winning. Which makes me think I have been putting myself in so much pain by not letting myself have fun enough. These two sides both need to win and not be in pain.

I love so much of this video. Wisdom! There is something I want to touch on: Source knows itself (including us) completely and is expanding through us without beginning or end. God knows all and is in all and is allowing life to unfold. It is not a matter of God not knowing, more so of God not needing to know things that do not matter. The focus of source is always on the most high, nothing less. God doesn't control the way we play.

This is so hillarious! Edit: Teal is spot on. Hope everyone catches what she means.

It was clear that the first girl had a lot of energy that needed to be released. And it’s hard for her to be open and honest because she’s very good at keeping people focused and is very conscious of everyone else’s perceptions of what’s going on. She’ll even begin to interview Teal to deflect true attention towards herself.

This was great! Loved that women and her giggles. I used to get laugh attacks in school. Especially when a whole gym of people had a moment of silence, gosh that killed me.

Teal Swan you are creeping me out with the timing of these videos and how relevant they are to my current moment. Even more so by the fact that I know this isn't an uncommon occurrence for the people that pay attention to what you have to say. "Boom!" Brilliant!

I was watching another video on trusting your intuition when I got the notification that Teal uploaded this video. In the other video I was watching the woman was using an example of seeing synchronicities like 777. I had been seeing that exact number all day today. It’s crazy how the universe presents things to you to affirm that you are in alignment.

Aurora Lazuli I had this exact same conversation with someone today!

I just saw 777 a few minutes ago, $777 a fundraiser amount. 👌😂 Yeah, Teal trips me out. It's like she's my spirit guide, and I'm watching her thru KZbin address these different fragmented views within my own psyche. It's Twilight Zone central for me pretty much every time. Not just, oh yeah, that's really interesting info.. but more like, oh, Teal wants to have a sit down with me. Gulp. 😂 What I do this time? 😅 Joking/Not joking. I always learn something new with her. It's purty great. By the way, I recommend using my favortie website for numbers: sacredscribesangelnumbers.blogspot.com/2011/12/angel-number-777.html 🖖 Blessings

Love it! So, I'm going to trust that if I don't fully trust myself I'm going to be open to learn about what I don't know that I don't know, and letting that space is my best interest. 😎 Sounds like a tongue twister, but in my head makes sense, quite liberating indeed, I don't have to know all or be my only supporting point. (If I absolutely trusted in me, there wouldn't be room for others perspectives and opinions neither for learning new stuff). 😆 The interesting part is to distinguish between when trust, and when be open to learn. I guess that's why feelings exist... Thanks, I enjoyed this so much!

You both were delicious in that session. Flirting, laughing, being light hearted, a breath of fresh air yet teaching with a solid message. Trust yourself but don’t makes perfect sense. Easy to make judgements about others and why they might react in any given circumstance.

Teal starts by saying how dead the crowd is, then this woman erupts into fits of laughter. If that's not the work of the universe, I don't know what is.

Well that's 30 mins of my life I'll never get back. Yes we shouldn't take life so seriously but as a busy working mother looking for actual answers this just felt like a waste of my valuable time. So if, like me, you have other things to do go straight to minute 16 in the video or better just watch another one of Teal's many excellent videos.
