Why does God need you to pray for him to do good things such as reducing casualties in hurricanes? shouldn't he do these acts of mercy out of real love and not out of a give and take relationship? It shouldn't be conditional mercy because that's not mercy, that's holding us hostage which is not what real mercy is. If his real mercy and love is genuine then that love should not come out of us being forced to pray to him for him to not kill us all. That seems like he is being a bit of a drama queen and a brat. Why does he need our prayers in the first place anyway? Wasn't it he who beset us with these hurricanes in the first place? It seems to me that this whole praying thing isn't doing us a lick of good and in fact, it probably hurts people since what you're doing is just "praying" instead of making meaningful real-life changes in the world. By the way, praying doesn't even work seem to work or help at all when it comes to this god fella. I'm sure everyone was praying when Katrina hit, or when those earthquakes struck Haiti, or when that massive tsunami killed thousands in 2004 and 2011 and yet he never stopped the hurricanes or other disasters despite the fact that those events probably killed a few Christians themselves.

Guys how on earth to build such a tower in an area with such a high risk of tornadoes???? I m not a type that ‘’put the fault on government for everything’’ but I m trying to understand the logic of building this…Take a look at constructors from Holland for examples. In Holland we have 25 meters wall built on all sides from the beach and a very complex strategy ( bridges, an anti flood system called “delta works” Basically Holland has walls and bridges all around the country which keeps the flood away. In 2021 many countries from Europe had serious issue with the floods Holland was very well safe… Is time for your government to take into very serious priority this matter. Without JESUS' gift of grace, the devil would be let loose to do what he does because of our sins against GOD'S HOLINESS! "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10! Atheists and agnostics won't believe and RECEIVE JESUS for forgiveness. But they will have NO excuse. "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." 🌀 My Ida survival story 🌀 Too late to evacuate, Plus where would we all go? In a short amount of time, What was a category 3 changed to a 4. We tried to be prepared the best way we knew, But no one could prepared for what we would all actually go through. Beginning of it we were all okay, Watching t.v as the winds made the trees sway. Than Ida became more aggressive, Winds, rain, picking up speeds reckless. Power went in out, kids became scared, Son & youngest daughter, faces filled with tears, Ceiling light fell, leaving pieces of debris to clean, Leaving me & dad to take turns mopping up the leaks. On top of the water from outside that began to creep, From what had to be from all directions, In various different sections. We managed & survived the hurricane, Thankful we made it to see the next day. Next day was sunny exposing the damage left, With enough juice in my battery to text. We are ok we made it, thank God for his grace, Other Ida survivors texting back the same, When will power be on, still left in the dark, Even as I write this that question still has a question mark ❓ Looting & breakins every man for himself, Leaving all stores close to home with nothing on their shelves. Home feeling like a sauna, faces losing weight, No hot meals, for us to put on our dinner plates. Its crazy what you begin to miss when its all gone, Just like you dont how strong you are until you gotta be strong.💪 But strength comes with numbers, Not gonna lie glad we had one another. We lit candles and played card games, Laughing at the funny jokes told, most lame. After 3 days we finally had a warm meal thanks to pops, Otherwise it was pb&j, can goods, water & soda pop. Sis offered us to stay with her in the sunny state, Offer I had no objective to take. Gas was scarced, & the ones that had gas, Lines were so long took 2 hrs to fill our tank. But no complaints we made it, Seeing my kids frowns turn to smiles, Enjoying hot meals we didn't have in awhile. Watching my 4 year old sleep peacefully, Instead of her tossing & turning, No more complaining about how her body was burning. During the storm she was meditating, Now she jumping in pool water with no hesitations, These kids honestly are having, like a mini vacation, Beyond grateful for my sisters act of kindness, R.i.p to the lives that were lost, moment of silence 🙏 BrE FREE by Bre my Ida survival story

You have to marvel at whatever idiot decisions led to a central point of failure for the entire power grid, incredible. In my country we regularly have towers like that that topple in winter storms, most of our grid is those towers then we step down from them to a substation then all power lines go underground from the substations to substations in the cities then from there underground to the homes across cities, the substations have multiple lines into them off the main grid and between each other, you would need to take them all out to kill power to a city here.

@@OctPSfever I just don't understand how American people consistently put up with capitalism incentivising mass corporate lobbying to such an extent that it compromises public good, I mean does no one in US government believe in the precautionary principle before the profit motive? I note some of the smaller energy companies down there are co-operatives, perhaps it's time they all were with the larger entities broken up. I would also regulate for the automatic breakup of any company that reaches a certain size and I would regulate that any top down capitalist enterprise that comes to close/merge/move has to give the right to buy out the enterprise to its workers with public banks to loan them the money to do so, so they can run it as a democratic co-operative by of and for the people it serves, no more pissing off to China to make more money for a handful while a rust belt is left back home. But thats just me. As for breaking up large corps, I seem to recall that is what the Sherman act is for yet it languishes covered in dust buried by contributions from many a wealthy capitalist to many a politician. May evil, unfairness, injustice come back at the American government and those involved in ruining my life ( Targeted Me) to make me look bad to people, buddy, let us not forget Hiroshima,Vietnam, Iraq,Afghanistan,(My Brothers/Sisters) Syria, and so on. I am a fair and good person and they have no right to do this,i promise you I’m not making it up,i wish for my revenge in any way i can get it and not just for me but for all Muslims and non Muslims like those of Hiroshima,Vietnam. Unfairness, evil i will not tolerate. EVER. Sadly i was told I’m ugly and played, lied to,sadly mostly by my own kind, Bosniak girls, and you do know what was done to them during the aggression on Bosnia…….and i dont even hate on Serbian and American women/girls. You can not blame me for my looks and my desperation and urge for to have a gf and love making. This what was done to me is disgusting, unfair and terror…….Let me see the heroic Americans try this on Russia and Putin,it is easy to ruin me as i cant fight back the right way ………

17 Dread, and the pit, and the snare are on you, O dweller of the earth. 18 And it shall be, he who flees from the sound of dread shall fall into the pit. And he who comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare. For the windows from on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth quake. 19 The earth is breaking, breaking! The earth is crashing, crashing! The earth is tottering, tottering! 20 Like a drunkard the earth is staggering, staggering! And it rocks to and fro like a tree-hut! And its sins heavy on it; and it shall fall and not rise again. 21 And it shall be in that day, Jehovah shall punish the host of the high place on high, and on the kings of the earth on the earth. 22 And they shall be gathered, as prisoners are gathered in a dungeon. And they shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days they shall be judged. 23 Then the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed, when Jehovah of Hosts shall reign in Mount Zion, in Jerusalem, and gloriously before His elders. (Isaiah 24:17-23) And great earthquakes shall be in different places, and famines and plagues. And there shall be terrors and great signs from Heaven. (Luke 21:11) 25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars. And on the earth will be anxiety of nations with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men fainting from fear, and expecting those things which have come on the earth. For the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. 27 And then they shall see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to happen, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draws near. (Luke 21:25-28)

sure I mean a third of the states GDP for the next 6 months just went down the toilet due to mass devastation of businesses and infrastructure from a storm that exceeded all forecasting and preparations in terms of the longevity of its strength but I am sure the bottom 70% of the areas inhabitants who have been barely treading water economically for the last 20yrs while also dealing with the ramifications of a pandemic will just bounce back like happy bunnies.

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them. Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others. But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted". Matthew 23 NIV YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FOR YOURSELF AN IMAGE in the form of anything, in Heaven above or in the Earth beneath, or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents up to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. If my people who are called by my name, humble themselves and pray, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, I will hear from Heaven, will forgive their sins, and will heal their land. AND WHEN YOU PRAY, DO NOT BE LIKE THE HYPOCRITES, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. BUT WHEN YOU PRAY GO INTO YOUR ROOM, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. "Matthew 5-7 NIV Bible Gateway", we can use google search. These are the teachings, The Righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ our God. REPENT, and start doing what is right. If you abide my teachings, you are really my disciples; then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in Truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. GOD IS SPIRIT so his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in Truth. In the New Heaven and New Earth, only Righteousness dwells. May the Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ our God be with you all.
