@@mariomm9080 Oscar, Drazen Petrovic, and Nicos Gallis are like GODs of FIBA !! You can put Sabonis and Sasha Djordjevic in their mix. They all are rare players. Extreamlly rare and myth players like Wilt in NBA. Sabonis prior injury is best center FIBA ever saw complete. Djordjevic is clutch GOD nobody in history can match his clutch genes. Petro is best shooter in history. Nicos Gallis do I even need to say who rthis guy is he played 30 years PRO and even beat Jordan with 50 pts one time. Oscar guy is HOF in both NBA and FIBA tho he never play NBA once !! Oscar is guy that carry team alone no other player from my list played alone .

@@Rianassis @KICKPanda I find out a foreign player like Drazen Petrovic and Tony Kukoc, they played in the NBA during this time, period and still represented their own country(Croatia) when it come to International competition so I don't think Oscar would have an issue to represent his national team(Brazil) if he accepted the offer to play in the NBA

@@ytgc-royalewarex5190 when he was drafted, I think it was in 1984. Back then players from NBA couldn't play. In 96 Oscar had already passed his prime, even though he was still the best Brazilian player. In 92 he perhaps could play, but maybe too old for a rookie?

Oscar Schmidt > Lebron James in skill and fundamentals imo. I mean 13:01. What a move. And the high finger roll over Shaq - fundamentals you just don't see in today's NBA and especially the human bowling ball Lebron James.

Must have been bittersweet for Magic fans to see shaq and hardaway as teammates for the last time in these Olympics. Also not saying it is wrong to represent your country and certainly not wrong to win a gold medal but I wonder if these games wound up having an effect on barkley and olajuwon by the end of 97 (maybe even barkley and stockton too.). They kinda cooled off at the end of the year and struggled in the playoffs. It certainly affected the rest of Pippen's bulls tenure/career. In fact pretty much no Dream Teamer went unscathed from these Olympics. Maybe Shaq.

Why does the 96 Dream Team have all the exhibition contests surviving on YT and none of the actual Olympic contests available (except in foreign languages)? Didn't anyone in the US prioritize the ones that actually count?
