One thing I've observed is that any one's metabolism plays a big role on the effectiveness of edibles. I have extremely slow metabolism so those work really well for me, but for some of my friends who have extremely fast metabolism the edibles have no effect at all. Seems like they metabolise the THC too quickly to have any effect; these guys are also completely immune to the effects of caffeine as well.

Has conan ever been screened for ADHD? People with ADHD (like me) often are hyperactive and zany without drugs, and stimulants generally have a calming / focusing effect. Also, red heads have a gene that affects both their pain tolerance and also their tolerance for pain killers, which could be what is making him resistant to drugs at the dentist!

In my opinion, inexperienced users should just take a puff, wait ten minutes and see if they appreciate where they're at. You can then do more or not depending on how you feel. Edibles take forever, and then they last longer. If you don't like the effect, you may have to wait a couple of hours for it to wear off. It's easier to have a bad experience on edibles.

Yeah, I had a terrible experience once in Amsterdam. I accidentally took a 1g (that's gram, not milligram) cake while travelling back home. I didn't sleep so good the night before and was groggy and when it was time to catch the bus back in the morning, I started snacking on it on an empty stomach, completely forgetting about the high dose. About an hour into the bus ride and it just hits me like a train (or bus lol). The trees outside and the cars on the freeway just started to lose their fixed shape and became more jello-like. I felt great until about 2 hours later when I got off the bus and it just turned on me like that end scene in Indiana Jones where the angels turn into demons. Time had this shadow-like characteristic where I couldn't grasp what I was seeing and it was just a shallow reflection of what was reality. I just couldn't focus on anything. Anyway, I was high for about 2-3 days. Worst "sleep" ever.

As for dosage suggestion for Conan, I'd say test him with a 10G Sativa edible the first night, with a 3.5G J of hybrid, 60 Indica/40 Sativa ratio, make sure to have lots of water, fruit and sweet hot peppers, and because of everyones' health, I try to stay away from salty snacks, but this calls for celebration trail mix and cheese puffs. Conan does drugs? Nah. He's a beer and wine guy, if you've listened to him for a few years. He is hyper, energetic and thinks fast, so someone could mistaken him for a coke head, i suppose.
