Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson are joined by a hero of theirs, Jane Fonda! Jane is a master of third acts, and the guys are curious about how she manages to keep going full speed in her life and activism (though she insists she’s just getting started). They also get into the time Ted and Jane got arrested, her experience in Vietnam, and how she became an exercise icon. Bonus: Jane’s skinny dipping stories.

ABOUT WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME
Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson are total opposites with an unbreakable bond since meeting on the hit sitcom “Cheers.” But after that show wrapped, life took them in different directions, and they missed each other. This podcast is a chance to reconnect, both with each other and the amazing friends they’ve each met over the decades, like Will Arnett, Dax Shepard, Jane Fonda, Mary Steenburgen, José Andrés, Conan O'Brien, and more - that is, when Ted can get a hold of Woody! Join them as they dig beyond the career highlights and into the stuff of life that makes us who we are. Like the title says, this is a place to be known.

I do enjoy the visibly different vibe that Ted and Woody have. One is dressed for a mortage meeting at the bank, the other looks like he's ready for a day at the beach. The outdoor recording area also really suits Woody.

As a Vietnamese, I got goosebumps hearing the knowledge they know about my country like the war, Ho Chi Minh, and last but not least they understand the pov of Vietnamese people.

I just adore her. Her activism is inspiring as heck and her way of explaining how she took more control of her life was a fantastic way of putting something. Thank you for this. She should be applauded for recognizing at such an early age the privilege given to her and to use it to her advantage. What a woman!!!

I don't know if Conan came up with the idea to put Ted and Woody together for this podcast, but it's genius. One of the most interesting and funny podcasts I've seen in years. Well done guys. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

"You are the tragedy, we know why we are fighting", this statement sums up all conflict and sorta touches upon the idea that a war could be won before it is fought and also explains how "might" can be brought down with "right". I hadn't researched too much into Jane's life.....but anyone that puts in the effort and participates is the life of the party as far as I am concerned. At least she begins a dialog....and the intellectual details can be hammered out along the way. I hope you stay in great shape beyond the age of 100....LETS GO!!!

Absolutely wonderful conversation. My only complaint is that I wasn't there, sitting on the floor, listening to you in person. ❤

Adore Jane Fonda. Appreciate (and share) her & Ted's environmental activism and passion on the topic over the years. However, the person doing the absolute MOST to protect the environment and mitigate climate change is the Vegan, Woody Harrelson. Simply by being vegan for decades, Woody has had a more profound positive environmental impact than Ted & Jane combined.

Fascinating conversation! Thank you for sharing this. I remember the photo in Vietnam. I knew back then that Jane’s side of the story was not being covered. Finally I know her version.

Great conversation. I can’t tell you how many arguments I had with my father at our dinner table about Jane’s trip To North Vietnam. I wish I had this conversation to share with him so he would have a better understanding of that time. What a life.

Ms. Jane Fonda is living proof beauty has no age limits. I mean beauty in its true form i.e physically, intelligent, passionate about the world around her and so grounded. She is a philosophical person. Her approach of being better everyday is something we should all do in order to make the world a better place because were only passing through and its important to leave a positive footprint. I like how Ted, Woody and Ms. Fonda understand their privilege and use their fame to uplift the rest of us. Great interview I listened on my way to work and had to revisit the interview later.❤
