Tbh what I like about Jiren's inclusion in the story is that he's basically the opposite of Goku. Jiren attained his strength by relying solely on himself while Goku has only gotten so strong thanks to his allies. By beating Jiren with the help of former villains turned Ally (excluding Frieza) Goku pretty much solidifies to Jiren that the path of a loner he chose was the incorrect one. Hopefully this leads to Jiren being a bit more interesting if he comes back lol.

Cumulative damage, teamwork, and one or more of Vegeta's own decisions (at least the power ball he created drained his ki just before he went Oozaru) are what led to Vegeta's defeat.

I mean, the covid vaccine never really stopped you from getting the virus or whatever, if I remember correctly... I think it just made the symptoms less extreme... Despite claims by some politicians and people in the mainstream media etc... Probably still useful to get it (although in some cases, if you were a healthy person, you'd probably be better off just getting the virus and gaining immunity that way, partly because some people seem to have had bad reactions to the vaccine). Likely your experience with the virus wasn't as bad for you because you were vaccinated, but yeah... Technically speaking it's not strictly a vaccine by traditional standards, I think they altered the definition so it could be called one... Probably somewhat similar in function though... Oh well... The vaccines for covid were probably overhyped though... Especially by news outlets that were sponsored by one of the companies making the vaccines for some reason lol.

I don't think the Gotenks name being "mostly Goten" is necessarily true, at least not according to MistareFusion's breakdown of the Japanese naming characteristics. According to him, both Goten and Trunks actually share an equal amount of the name, based on at least the Japanese name and phonetics.

Mistare's case is that the first two would be Goten's, the last two would be Trunks's, and the middle "N" would be shared by both. Now I suppose one of them might not actually share the middle syllable with the other, but that's not exactly the same as saying Gotenks is "all Goten and a little Trunks," as stated in the TFS short. I guess the truth value of the TFS statement would depend on who gets the middle syllable, if not shared. But yea I see what you're saying.

I love this, and I know that they were joking when I said this, but Goku was not a bad father. This is literally all came from cell getting a senzu bean and Dragon Ball Z abridged. throughout the entirety of Dragon Ball, Z Goku is saving Gohan. And when he isn’t, it is because he is dead. And that is the only reason that he missed so much gotens life but after he got back, he immediately became a good father and didn’t want to miss his sons match. At first the bad father allegations were a joke now some people are actually believing it
