I actually PLAYED THIS. My Mom rented me this game from Blockbuster once because, as a kid, I liked both the Tony Hawk games and Disney films. I will give this game a bit of professional credit where due: the concept is interesting. Turning Disney (and Pixar) film locations into skateparks. But OH MY SWEET JESUS the execution of that concept couldn't have been worse.

I remember playing this game all day when I was 11. I had so much fun with it! I am not much of a skateboard game fan, but this game made skateboarding as a genre unforgettably fun. Might check out other skateboarding games in the future. It was very satisfying to pull off the tricks and battle against my sisters. ❤

Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure is truly a time capsule to the early 2000's. It has murky world that only the PS2 could muster, the soulless dead eyed Disney characters, the fact that the game is based on several movies, it has skateboarding, Branding, Blink 182, even Simba is there for no reason. Can a 4 legged animal skate? Who knows but we'll make it happen! It's so dated yet so timeless. Devised by suits finding out what 9 year olds like these days.
