This unlocked a core memory from 4th grade! One of the kids actually thought that the world used to be black-and-white, since that’s what we see in “old-timey” photos… I remember our social studies teacher was shook by his utter stupidity when he said that! The game felt more of an alternate history than anything. Needless to say, this Worst Games Ever series is one of the most entertaining piece of KZbin media I have ever watched. :D (That and Classic Game Room)

I like how Rani's review compares it favorably compared to "poo brown" shooters. The whole game seems to be played through "poo vision", so I'm not sure what he was comparing it to. Even Quake (which is still a good game) threw in some green and yellow with their brown-centric worldview. My only guess is that Rani lives in an actual dirty toilet bowl, which clouds his tv screen with poo, and he cleaned the screen before playing this game. Cuz damn it's brown to me. It's almost "i ate a bunch of Pepto bismol" black-brown.

It's got some things going for it. The level design for the Unreal Tournament 2004 mod which was the prototype for this was pretty neat. I took a handful of screenshots during my playthrough today. I liked the mix of first person shooting and third person platforming, the steampunk setting and the indigenous magic.

I remember Game Informer talked about this game was going to be good after they talked to devs about it. Then when it came out, GI basically shredded it to pieces. Not saying it was the worst game ever of course. But certainly a disaster for 360.
