MY BRETHREN- I AGREE WITH A LOT OF WHAT COCOA TEA SAID. IT IS TRUE AND SAD TO SEE HOW THOSE IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FROM JAMAICA TO THE REST OF THE WORLD FAILED TO APPRECIATE AND GIVE CREDIT TO THE WORKS OF DENNIS BROWN, CULTURE(JOSEPH HILL), AND MANY OTHERS. IN FACT CULTURE WAS MUCH RECOGNIZED AND LOVED IN AFRICA THAN IN JAMAICA AND SO WAS PETER TOSH. **LISTEN WE KNOW WHY THIS WAS SO, BUT WE WILL NOT DISCLOSE IT HERE**. IF YOU NEED TO KNOW, THEN TRY TO CONTACT US-OFF THE GRID.

MY BRETHREN, I HAVE BEEN A ROCK AND SHOULDER IN CONFIDENCE TO MANY OF THESE BRETHRENS AND SISTRENS FROM THE EARLY DAYS IN THE SIXTIES JAMAICA. I KNOW DENNIS BROWN FROM HE WAS ATTENDING- GREENWICH FARM PRIMARY SCHOOL CLOSE TO TRENCH TOWN AND HE USED TO COME INTO MY YARD WITH A LOT OF OTHER SISTRENS AND BRETHRENS AS WE REHEARSE SONGS BEFORE STUDIO.**I HAVE A HISTORY WITH A LEGION OF THESE BRETHRENS AND SISTRENS. MY BACKYARD WAS THE REAL REGGAE MUSIC UNIVERSITY, AND I HAVE HISTORY YET UNREVEALED. WE WERE A FAMILY.. IT HURTS TO SEE WHAT HAS BECOME OF THESE YOUTHS THAT I GREW UP WITH, AND KNOW AND LOVE. YOU CALL ANY NAME AND I HAVE HISTORY WITH THEM AND SEVERAL PICTURES, WHEN YOU SEE ME IN PICTURES WITH-WAILING SOULS, JOE HIGGS, GARTH DENNIS, DELROY WILSON, DON CARLOS, ROY WILSON, ETC, ETC, AND SOME YOU MAY STILL NOT KNOW. I WOULD NEED ANOTHER WEEK TO TELL YOU MUCH MORE. BOB MARLEY WAS MY STUDENT AND BRETHREN, AND SO WAS BUNNY AND PETER.**ONE THING IS CERTAIN-HAD THE ELITE FOLKS IN JAMAICA NOT OSTRACIZED, AND DENIGRATED US IN TRENCH TOWN, JAMAICA WOULD BE IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE.I HAD THE COPYRIGHTS FOR REGGAE CREATION,JOE HIGGS TOLD THEM SO, IT WAS IN THEIR DAILY GLEANER MARCH 8TH 1998.ITS NOW POSTED ONLINE FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE. THEY ARE ALL KEEPING QUIET..WHY??? I AM HERE TO LET THESE BRETHRENS BE HONORED AND GIVEN RESPECT FOR THEIR WORKS HELPING JAMAICA.

DO YOU KNOW WHY? WE LIVED IT AND WENT THROUGH THEIR TRIBULATIONS TOO. WE SUFFERED WITH THEM ALL. WE HAD BRIGHT AND INTELLIGENT PEOPLE IN TRENCH TOWN WHO WERE GENIUSES TAKING NOTES. MOST OF WHAT WE HAVE IS CLASSIFIED. THOSE WHO LIE AGAINST OUR HISTORY WE WILL CALL THEM OUT, AND SHOW THEM TO BE FALSE, DECEPTIVE, AND MISLEADING ANYTIME, EVERYTIME! Real clickbait!! I love Cocoa Tea but why didn’t you title this video as a biography dedicated to him? I thought that it was an actual interview with him.. The reference to DEB was only mentioned briefly at the end of the video. As a massive DEB fan, I find the title misleading.. An excellent, informative piece though. ❤️ 👍🏿

So why was Dennis Brown so sick that he had to be holding him up? And with the exception of Bob Marley-whom everyone, JA & worldwide, attribute every patriotic contribution to, Dennis Brown is not the only great Jamaican artiste who doesn't get his due. There're many, many, many other extremely talented JA masters of their craft: Peter Tosh, Mighty Diamonds, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Alcapone, U Roy, Slim Smith, Freddie McGregor, Pat Kelly.... To name a very few!

A QUESTION FOR YOU:- WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE REASON WHY JAMAICA IS NOT TELLING THE TRUTH ON WHO HAS THE REGGAE CREATION COPYRIGHTS? WHY DID THEY PLUNDER THE COPYRIGHTS AND ROBBED SO MANY ARTISTS OF THEIR ROYALTIES? WELL, RAS CARDO AND HIS CREW KNOW THE REASONS, AND HAS THE COPYRIGHTS FOR HIS REGGAE CREATION WORKS. HE LIVED THE EXPERIENCES WITH MOST OF THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES. WE CAN SHOW YOU EVIDENCE WHICH WOULD MAKE YOU SHUDDER. KEEP ON SPEAKING THE REGGAE TRUTHS.

@@stanforddavis820 What you think? Let's look at the Rasta community for instance, you believe they will exalt a fish dread? Let me put it more bluntly, Dennis was a first rate artiste, but in his personal life, he was a little nasty batty boy and members of the music and Rasta fraternity knows this, so he's basically being disregarded despite his musical achievements.

@@ivorysteele You know it's abroad I found out, I had a friend visiting and at one point Dennis Brown was stalking his friend who was a male and promising him all type of shit and also to fly him over to Europe where he was doing a series of shows at the time. Apparently due to the respect for him it has been kept on the down low, but the business, so to speak, knows that he was a fish, that's why you don't hear anyone from the fraternity talking much about him.
