@@cupcakecupcake1998 I mostly studied off at first with Smart Edition and then I came across Professor Yu’s videos for the Science portion and I watched most of her videos as a supplement :) I also did watch other science videos to help me as well, such as Tutor Geek, Organic Chem Tutor, and Tyler DeWitt’s videos. Hopeful this helps! :)

Hi Prof Yu! For Q#2, wouldn't Macrophage & Leukocytes technically be part of Immune System not the Lymphatic System? Thank you

Good question! First of all, the lymphatic system and the immune system overlap. Recall that besides draining and returning excess fluid back to the blood, the lymphatic system also houses immune cells and performs body defense. So I wouldn't separate them and think of them strictly as two different systems. The lymkphatic system is a really odd one - it's part of the circulatory system and part of the immune system. Fascinating, isn't it! Second, as mentioned earlier, the lymphatic system houses immune cells including macrophages and leukocytes (T and B cells). They inspect lymph (the fluid circulating in the lymphatic system) and target foreign invaders. So you can absolutely say that those immune cells are components of the lymphatic system - analogy: think of the lymphatic system providing another battleground for those immune cells to destroy pathogens and protect our body. Which system is responsible for erythrocyte production? Urinary system or skeletal?

Good question! instead of me just giving you the answer, how about I ask you a question and if you can figure it out, then you will answer your own question LOL. Where in the body are erythrocytes produced?

@@professoryu5571 Erythrocyte production occurs in red bone marrow. RBM is found in the bones. I would say skeletal. The kidneys just have the hormone of the RBC initiation.

@@adat1568 You got it! Skeletal system (specifically red bone marrow) is the correct answer! For the urinary system, I'd say remember erythropoietin and that it promotes RBC production to maintain RBC level homeostasis.
