Tech Dabi will always be way more fun to me than Strike. The hugs from Strike are satisfying for the first 5-6 times, then it just becomes whatever since it's the most overly-relied on ability. With Tech no fight feels boring since you have to be on the ball at all times in a battle and sniping people out the air with a fireball or Downing someone to a trap you forgot about hits so nicely. Matches feel more chaotic with him but in a good way and it's just much more fun imo.

Tech Dabi really needs something that's comparable to his strike counterpart. Maybe his traps and gamma have a larger radius and higher vertical line up. For more ariel cover.

I think they should either give him two gammas (even if its at lvl 4 or something) or make his gamma like his special action cause there's fr no consequences for rolling inside of the "shield". His alphas should also be a little bit faster even if they decrease the dmg or the range to balance it out. Also his reload speed is crappy for being a technical but everyone already knows that lmao.

RENECT AIM, EMBRACE TECH DABI!!!!!!! Also the best route for dabi is 4/4/4 alpha first, then gamma, then beta. From there you max gamma then alpha then beta. Random betas are a menace late game, but early game they kinda suck. Level one alpha will also wiff a lot.

Tech Dabi buff ideas: Alpha - slightly more damage, two more ammo and fireball have a longer lifespan before disappearing Beta - more damage (needs to be more threatening maybe ignores armor dmg reduction) Gamma - armor (so Dabi doesn’t get knocked out of using the skill) Special - fix bug where his special doesn’t work when hit, revives with more hp maybe some shields as well

Dabi is one of my top 3 favourite characters to play on MHUR (with Denki and kiri) cause he could be' so fun bit he really need some buffs. A simple but good buff could be' for example put the armor on the gamma cause so many times enemies cancel my gamma so easily. Other things could be' idk a bit more damage on the alpha maybe even if have crazy tracking probably u always upgrade alpha for second or third so have it at low levels dont help u for do some good damage. About the beta i noticed, also on the alpha, when u use all bulletts, even if dabi is a pur character, the recharge its so so slow so maybe buff that could be' usefull Nice vid Stray and i really would like to see other videos of your console experience❤

Tech Dabi’s traps block majority of alpha attacks, however in red Dekus case it only blocks most of a single shot since it’s a multi shot. If you want to block the whole thing then you need two. Rapid Bakugo is the same in that regard. Make sure you’re behind the trap if you want it to block alpha attacks that can be blocked with traps

My comment's example from last video of "Kendo WILL chase you on PC" happens first match this video lmao. Actually just a textbook example, it WILL happen every few games. I definitely want to play Tech Dabi more but everybody just uses Strike Dabi now and I don't want to take the character slot lol. He's nowhere near top tier but I LOVE using the traps correctly. As a Tech Dabi Main, big advice : if u gamma while using rapid card, you basically do double damage. Anyway, yes. Tech Dabi need huge buff. Give his gamma super armor, make his traps animation quicker, improve damage on his gamma and above all, DECREASE RELOAD SPEED ON HIS BETA

Great video! Always happy to see anyone playing tech Dabi!I main him and the route I usually take for his Skills depends on the map. If it's new map, I go gamma, beta and alpha, because there are a lot more closed spaces and alpha just becomes that more unrelaible. But on the old map I do go for alpha first, then gamma and beta. Anyways, thanks for the video! I'd really like to see another console video soon.

Dabi is such a fun character thats only gotten better with time since newer characters haven't had any super armor so his traps and gamma can actually hard knock them down (I believe the shadow buff was that traps and gamma now stun if enemy has no shields). And to explain beta blocking traps, it mainly does it for single hit projectiles red deku has like a 5 shot spread. To give an example a single dabi beta can actually block overhaul gamma and it looks as goofy as you would imagine since the animation still goes through. Ive seen alot of people say give his gamma armor but he doesn't need it because it will lead to people just spamming it braindeadly like most characters with a super armor option. Alternatively though his gamma should function like ibara gamma or tech shoto beta where the cooldown doesn't begin unless the actual circle spawns/attack comes out which I feel is fair more fair than giving it armor. Or make his SA usable while in the air.

Us purple mains got done dirty. He actually got nurf. His traps don't kill downed enemies with 2 anymore. Also, you have to place the trap down one at a time to do full damage. Two traps don't stack anymore.

one major thing i noticed since console v. pc is being compared, pc players will not take a dabi alpha to the face. console players handsdown can get alpha'd and repeatedly, which is how i noticed alpha doesnt seem to be a priority in maxing and i can see why pc players are more reflexive to never letting those hit. on console its very viable to still max alpha

I've noticed something that PC players can do that console players can't and that's the fact that they can sort through their inventory while healing. I know it's a pretty minor thing and I could be wrong, but it can save time if I'm right.

Dude is good against most of the cast wdym? He counters melee characters like Iida and Kirishima, and characters that still like to get close such as Denki and Mt Lady and has great close-quarter domination. Fropy and Aizawa are easier for him to deal with than most people expect just because they have the mobile advantage, and he directly counters Strike Dabi. But his abilities have a lot of potential for improvement. Alpha: More damage, more precise tracking, quicker speed, faster cooldown, extra bullet Beta: More damage, bigger radius, could be throwable, faster cooldown, extra bullet Gamma: Activation duration increase, enemies take damage within the ring, armor upon activation That plus a default run speed boost and bump the hp to 400 like Ibara and Kendo are all things they could do.

Like I wish the beta was an actual time bomb instead of a trap, but that would change the way people play the character. My main issue w him is that he can't really punish any characters unless they're super close to him/inside a small room, so he feels really low tier and stuff like armor and more damage wouldn't really do anything for me.

Like for a Technical he reaaaaallly needs faster cooldowns, there's no excuse that his should be so slow and the devs could make that change easily. They did rework his Special so it is possible they could rework his beta or gamma too at some point. I get what you mean though, he is supposed to be a close-quarter character and can't punish people effectively at a distance which does suck, but the same could be said for characters like Kiri, Iida, Aizawa, Kendo, Froppy, and Mirio who all have the same problem, yet they're still seen as good characters, even the ones who don't have strong close-quarter combat either such as Froppy. (She's good but she can't dominate small spaces that well like Tech Dabi can.)
