Both are so similar it's crazy. Just don't think you're selling "yourself" though. Not at first. It's about the experience, if it's going to be fun, pleasurable. interesting, etc. We sell ourselves subtly throughout, and over time.

Matt, thank you for reacting to him. I was waiting for somebody to react to him. One question, aren't you going to do live cold calls? You're one of the guys I began sales with, I watched a lot of your videos, and I'd love to see you do a live cold call. I'm sorry if you did and I missed it, but I remember looking it up and not finding it.

I can’t do live cold calls…it’s illegal in Pennsylvania to record calls…I would have to open the cold call by saying: “you are on a recorded line” 😂

The only problem I have with Mr. Miner is that I bought his "NEPQ 2.0" training for $1,997.00. It gave me access to the training but after a year, it was taken away. The training I bought was not a lifetime of access. You basically lease their training versus buying it. If I had known this up front I would not have bought it. 7th level should be more transparent. Thank you Matt for all your hard work and the value you bring to the market place. I appreciate you.

Well that sucks. Should always be transparent about pricing…that’s awful

I hear you & can understand how frustrating that can be. Mind if I share with you a different perspective on why (some) sales training companies only give 1-year access to their programs? If you had 1 year to give absolute, iron-clad effort + focus within a training (modules/course) to teach you the skills, you wouldn’t necessarily need to go back to it after that year. It’s a matter of learning the right skills, in the right manner, from the right people. Take for example….. Driver’s Ed to get your driver’s license. It might be different across the world, but when I took Driver’s Ed, the course/training was only for about 3 months total. I can even say the same thing for college education. Sure, people can always go back to their notes for a refresher down the line… But… People rarely, if ever, actually feel the need to have lifetime access to that training because: - they learned the right skills - they learned the right skills in the right way - they learned the right skills in the right way with the right people Just my thoughts.

I worked with Jeremy. He’s the real deal but his method still is not easy to apply. It’s also hard to reproduce. But when learned, it’s the best out there. I’ve seen him sell live and he’s on another level. Sadly it felt like his team focused heavily on selling his course more than trying to help you learn NEPQ.

So many of us like Jeremy and want his course but can't justify the price. Maybe you could buy and complete the course and then create a video about the highlights of the course. We all trust your opinion on this stuff and would find it very valuable

Matt, I love your vids on cold calling and recently implemented your priority drop into my script. The problem is that I feel like my offer for the people I'm cold calling right now is incredible, and if I don't get past the priority drop, they can't hear my offer. I will be trying to split test this. Or I could try to implement my offer into the priority drop somehow. Any opinions on this?
@MattMacnamara
@MattMacnamara 7 ай бұрын
your priority drop should include 3 priorities that your offer satisfies. Do some A/B testing to find the right script for you. thanks for watching and commenting!

I've been involved in cold calling for a real estate broker and am curious about how this experience might be perceived in the tech sales industry. Do you think this experience would be valuable or sufficient for securing a tech sales job after I graduate from college?

That Jeremy guy is acting Put him on the phone with a LIVE prospect and he would never sound like that. That’s what you sound like when you’re acting for a video, it’s NOT what you sound like on a REAL phone call speaking to a REAL live human being

I agree. Based on how successful he seems, I googled him and found nothing about him. No success story no real company no history. Either I wasn't thorough with my research, or he's really a nobody. Not saying I'm important enough to qualify him, but you get what I mean.

Seriously, when you rehearse, you sound like that. Of course at first you don't, but then over time it becomes you. Just like when you see actors, musicians and so on, they elicit emotions because they practiced... their scripts!

he actually just recently uploaded a video of him setting a meeting with a prospect live infront of like 150+ people. “Jeremy Miner Selling LIVE”. Was it a sale? No. But, one can imagine how the sale went when the appointment set looked like that!

He's talking about Miner taking from Michael Oliver Natural Selling . Although a lot of the foundation is actually NLP going back to the 80's framework of thoughts language and feelings to subconsciously produce real life outcomes

Nothing is new under the sun. That man that "created" that selling style learned it from someone else. it's all human behavior and communication. when you understand how humans communicate and behave, you will come up with the same style of selling. he is just better at marketing it and packaging the product.
