“Auto” on remote start doesn’t always turn on the defrost and heated seats, there’s no reason to change to “last setting” for summer. It uses the dash temp sensor to automatically decide whether to turn on the A/C and cooled seats or the heat and heated seats/wheel. It’s called auto because it does it automatically.

Can you please show how to set the doors to lock when you walk away and send navigation directions to the fordpass app with a smartphone. It works on my old Honda and Tesla but haven’t found these settings in all the menus.

Fords don’t walk-away lock, that’s just not an option they’ve ever really had. You can send directions to the car by going into ford pass, finding a spot on the in-app map and hitting send to car, but they are removing this feature in the latest update.

I hate the digital owners manual. You don't even have the option to buy a paper copy. You can get a PDF but the best you can do is three-ring binder it. But thanks for the wake-up word and radio pages tip, I just ran out to my F-150 and set them!

They also don’t inform you that after your trial subscription is up you can no longer enter a destination and get travel route in navigation, rendering it useless unless you want to look at the little blue arrow to see where you are. I just look out the windshield to see where I am.

@@Darkangel-sw9lm mine was only 90 days. But I have seen on some they get 3 yrs. Don’t know why ford does it that way. You would think everybody would get the same no matter what motor or trim you have. Mine is a 21 XZlT 302A

They didn't show me how it was going to be glitchy to the point of un-usable. Going into reverse while android auto is playing music, bricks the camera and creates an ear shattering hummmm thru the speakers.

Hi, My 21 F-150 Lariat 802 w/ sync 4 is constantly resetting the presets to 2 pages instead of the 5 pages. I have to constantly go into settings and select 5 pages of presets because the radio defaults to the original 2 every time. I've done the radio 'reset' by holding power and fast forward buttons. Doesn't seem to do it as much now, but still does. Any hints you can offer?

If you can't get the touchscreen to respond, you will need to take it to a Ford dealer and have it looked at. I'm not sure how to reset it if the screen isn't working.

Sync4 SUCKS!! My 2022 Edge has it and the display screen constantly goes dark and needs to be "reset" to get it back on. The GPS system is often stuck in "Navigation is still loading" FOR WEEKS ON END!!!!! You have to pull the vehicles battery out from under the dashboard to pull the neg cable off the post to get the vehicle to do a "MASTER RESET" to fix the GPS. Supposedly, Ford is working on a software update that is "supposed" to fix ALL of the Sync4 glitches. The update is supposed to roll out by this fall sometime. WE'LL SEE!!

Thanks for a great video. just know that SYNC4 will be where you find MANY difference depending on which level of CoPilot360 you have . i.e. cruise control, alarm settings are just two examples that do not show up when you only have the base level CoPilot360 2.0. Yes, Tim has videos on all the differences in CoPilot360 levels, but even he cannot possibly cover all the small (hidden) differences.

Might just be you, there definitely are paper owners manuals. Maybe your dealer forgot to put it in there, many take them out when the cars arrive for some reason.

Go into KZbin settings. You can decrease the speed. I'm on the other end of the spectrum. Everything I set to 1.5x unless it is a foreign speaker from India or similar...

I know for fact. Ford Navigation system is the biggest joke available. We tow a 35' Fifth Wheel and its no fun being put into a spot where its almost impossible to get out of. Someone needs to be notified Fords Navigation system is not reliable when towing our Fifth Wheel. We use our google map and sync it to monitor. The only reason we renew it is we have credits and use them to renew. I'll never pay to renew our Ford Navigation. Something is going to have to change.
