Actually QWERTY keyboard was invented to slowdown people's typing speed. In old times, the Type-Writers were used and the people were typing so fast that too much of the typer-writers were breaking. So companies decides to change alphabet order on these typer-writers. But they made it kinda universal or for most of countries where english was primary/secondary language. And modern QWERTY keyboards are just what we had back then
