@@LuisLopez-iv7me because there are many random conditions that determine the performance, so nobody will have the same results. You may have different temperatures, different room temperature, different bios versions, drivers etc. Take other people's results with a grain of salt.

@@jaredmills7235 I would say pretty good .while playing GTA V ,assassins creed the cpu temperature never goes above 73(mostly stays at 70,even though after 4/5 hours of gaming)but for fifa 20 the CPU temperature stays around 80 degrees. sometimes even 85 . which is pretty normal for laptops ,I guess. Anyway ,I always use my laptop cooler

Well this model is all made of metal. When you pay over $1000 for a laptop yu can't get a poor build quality. Every laptop that i've tested was solid and premium but that's only my opinion.

like in many similar video here my experience: i had 3 differents gaming laptop in 2019 asus g703 ( i9 / rtx 2080 /32 gb ) asus scar 2 ( i7 8750h / rtx 2070 ) and now omen 15 2019( i7 9750h/ rtx 2060/32gb ram) personally the omen is the best. with the g703( normally the most powerfull) many problems of temperature and noise, all day same setup with a program for the throttling. not really happy of this.and he seems the processor also bottlenecked the card, the performances absolutely not with the price 3500/4000 dollars. ( probably i fall in the wrong model.............dont now) the asus scar 2 ..........yes is a beast but a lit bit expensive and is already at max, you cant touch nothing, but still a beast. and now omen 15 2019 model: IS A BEAST,..............I REPEAT IS A FUCKING BEAST....why? i d'ont now if is the new processor (9750h) or low temperature, or the adapter 200 watt bring more energy.............. but first of all i oc the rtx 2060 and now i play with a bandwith of 400,9 ( normally is 336........), 32 gb dual channel work extremely well with rtx 2060......i feel the card is not bottleneckled..i can play assassin creed odissey at 2880x1620 OFFICIALLY FULL MAX 35 /40fps in game, battlefield 4 ALL MAX at 4k, ,GTA V 2880x1620 all max with MSAAX4 also 30/40fps in game,....so finally why to pay for rtx 2070 or rtx 2080? and also the usb ports at the right place ( 1 left, 1 right ,1 rear) so when you play coop you dont need to fight with the cables................hdmi also rear ,is intuitive connection for tv if you had luck you can find this laptop same specs around 1450 dollars. trust me i dont work for HP or bullshit like that, omen 15 is the best deal. my model in particular: HP omen 15 2019 model 15-dc1995nz i7 9750h RTX 2060 FULL SSD 1TB 32 GB ram ( samsung model work fine , no need to change)

You should see some difference but not very big. 16GB (2x8) is a sweet spot for gaming since games don't usually use more than 10GB

Well, the undervolt value is different for each laptop even if it's the same model. Mine was stable at -0.130V core voltage offset. I don't have a specific guide for this laptop tho

In Overwatch, you got an average FPS of 154? Is this really correct? On my HP Omen 15-2020 version-with the exact same specs but with a Ryzen 7 4800H (which I think is better than the Intel CPU in this video), my FPS do not exceed 70 and that's below EPIC settings.

Note that i tested thislaptop long time ago. During that time game got many updates, graphics drivers and Windows version changed and so on. The other thing is that some games may prefer Intel's architecture so it will perform better even tho your CPU seems to have better specs.

I bought it, the heating is actually fine. As a precaution I put the fans on max when I play anything intensive. If you play with headphones you won't hear the fans. If that is an issue for you I wouldn't get it (the fans on max are surprisingly quiet). My biggest complaint is its short battery life.

RTX 2070mq model will give you better performance as it is more powerful GPU than my RTX 2060. Also the models starting from RTX 2070mq have G-Sync if you have 144Hz or 240Hz display.

@@wassellouadah8 Hey man, I can say that this purchase was one of the best choices in my life :). I use this laptop everday, finished my school with it & game on it regularly! It is still working properly just like day 1! I use the laptop with an undervolt settings of 0,100 V and place it on a laptop stand to keep it cool. I did have problems with the Intel XTU program when undervolting my CPU, causing blue screen errors, so I don't recommend that program. Instead I use HP Omen's own default program called OMEN Command Center for undervolting and it works like a charm

hey nice video. I just bought this laptop and i tried to undervolt -130.0 using throttlestop and it still reach 97 degrees constantly in performance mode i changed it into -160.2 it is lower the temperature to 88 degrees sometime spiked to 97 this is in default mode and fan maximum i got 60 - 70 fps on battlefiled v ultra setting. Do you have any suggestion what i can try to reach 87 in performance mode? thanks

It's way too high temperature. My Omen was cooler. If undervolting didn't help then you should consider changing thermal paste as well. Check this vides (start from 10:00): kzbin.info/www/bejne/raSxgY2tZ9emfLM I showed results of my thermal tests on Omen with different settings and undervolt. Also room temperature, surface of desk/bed and exhausts too close to wall can affect temperature.

I have the same model and specifications. When i plugged in charger to laptop, the CPU speed push to 4 GHz. After the battery reach to 100 percent and make lot of work the temperature rise. If, I release charger the clock speed decreased to around 1.5 to 4 GHz. What is the explanation for that? Is there any problem to keep laptop always plugged in charger?

It's normal. You can use the laptop plugged in all the time if you want. No worries about the battery. Just avoid using the laptop when the battery is not 100% and charging at the same time

@@OmenJap When the battery is let's say 60% and you plug in the power cord it's better to turn off the laptop and wait until battery is 100%. Then you can start using laptop with power cable plugged in. When it's 100% the battery is not being charged any longer.

@@OmenJap yes, that scenario is for any % of charging. As long as it's not 100% charged the laptop ideally should not be used with power cable plugged in. If it comes to overcharging I'm not sure what happened when the battery hits 100% in Omen. By default every laptop stops charging at that point. It cannot be charged more if it's 100% already, so this overcharging thing is kinda confusing to me

I never have a problem with tearing when testing any 144hz laptop without G-Sync. In my opinion it's just so sensitive people who are looking specifically to find tearing when gaming instead of enjoying the game. ;)

This laptop is much more than capable of running GTA 5, so 10fps looks like some issue. In GTA V i set everything as high as possible with MSAA 2x or 4x

It's been some time since i tested the games on this laptop, so things like game patch, driver updates, windows updates might have affected the performance. Nonetheless i think 75fps is way too lof in Overwatch for this laptop. Check your render scale setting in game and use lower value. Also make sure that you're not on comfort mode in Command Center app

If you don't mind tweaking and undervolting them Omen is a good option, because it's smaller and it has Thunderbolt 3. MSI is chunkier but it tunns cool right out of the box without tweaking and it may perform slightly better.
