I'm new to Hyrox and I found this breakdown of techniques very helpful. I'm in the over 60's female division but it's still important to work on technique!

I was having trouble with the burpees, gassing out and can’t get my feet back to my hands prior to jump and have just tried the technique of going on one knee and it’s a winner for me! Really appreciate the breakdown of technique!

Can’t believe the difference this technique makes for me! Have now tried it twice doing 80m and burpees has gone from my Achilles heal to not even a bother. I’m 100kg with v tight hamstrings, I was 2 minutes quicker and wasn’t gassed at all. Really appreciate your time doing this!

Great video. As for your comment on the rowing section, and as a former rower, 70%(some say more) of power comes from legs when rowing, legs are the stronger muscles in our body, changing the technique of rowing just because you're in an hyrox race is the same as changing the running technique. The rowing movement a rower does is the most efficient, you can go a bit slower, but with the proper technique. It's just my opinion!!! Stay strong!!!

Any advice on rope management during the sled pull? This will be my second one and unless you're on the end lanes this can get annoying for me and cause me to waste time with maneuvering the rope after halfway through a full lap. Thanks as well man! Love the videos!

Make sure before you start pulling the end of the rope is where you want it either to one side or down the middle. And then try to manage it after each pull. Check out “full race plan 2.0” on my channel I get into it a bit more

Yeah I actually broke his technique down in my recent Burpee Broadjump video. Shorter jumps quicker turnover

Nice vid thanks a lot ! Concerning Sled Pull, to me that's not fair to let the rope go to the side. If I recall the rules correctly you have to pull the rope behind you. Here he has a clear advantage, being first shouldn't give him an easier pull, because then every athletes aren't competing an equal race.
