That seems like the perfect laptop for everyday carry. I have one of those last Intel MacBooks, which is not powerful enough for what I need, and a gaming laptop, which is way too heavy to carry to and from class. This would be a perfect middle ground, in my opinion.

specd with 32 ram drr5 and 2 tb blazing ssd like what can you ask for more and the ips option screen and oled option too makes it no brainer we all want an m1 capabilities on windows we just got the first step into that direction yeah mac are amazing and m1 were revolutionary but 80% of the market is windows and in my case environmental engineering 90 of my software doesn't ship on mac so i'm stuck on windows which im done mind understanding the os and how it works makes a big difference and not trying to change it to make it something it's wasn't designed for

I just got this laptop. What settings are you using in Davinci Resolve ? Do you need to run proxies with 4K media ? Mine is stuttering a bit and I’m wondering if that’s because I’m using the free version of Davinci resolve or if there are some settings I should be changing.

Exactly what I'm looking for right now to replace my 7 year old laptop. Unfortunately here in the Philippines, this one will probably only be available to buy by 2030 or so 😅 Searching for a new laptop has never been this stressful. I bought my current laptop before I moved here 7 years ago and the thing still works ok, and I use it day in day out for content creation... as it's starting to struggle with certain tasks, I believe it's time to replace it. @@davepirtle9790 I have been thinking about that, but I seem to have a love/hate relationship with Apple. I just can't justify the overpriced upgrades in RAM and SSD memory. Plus no possibility to upgrade later on. Okay I admit that the newer Windows laptops also seem to solder their RAM memory. Plus, here in the Philippines, it's hard to find older Apple devices in a legit store with some warranty longer than 7 days. I just noticed my comment is 5 months old and I still wasn't even able to replace my super old laptop yet hahaha.

I own MSI prestige 16 Studio 2023 (with mLED display) and there is a lot wrong with their laptops. I wont explain the technicalities as there are reviews online that do just that. But I will not be buying an MSI product ever again. I bought something that I can't but have to work with not.
