1:02:22... Those Lanz Bulldog tractors always give me a chuckle. You pull off the steering wheel and half of the steering shaft, then jam it into the flywheel of the engine and use it to manually crank the engine to get it started. The things had so much compression that it was impossible for a person to be able to crank the engine past TDC, so the operator had to rock the engine back and forth between the compression strokes, get it bouncing back and forth, and know when to really give 'er hell on the last crank, in the opposite direction that you want the engine to run, and HOPE that it fires off of that bounce and not the next one, or else the engine will be running in reverse. If that happens, you will have several reverse gears, and only one forward gear. You'd have to shut the engine off, and then try again to get it started in the proper direction. Some owners knew their machine well enough, and could get the engine to change directions by shutting the engine off, and when it's just coasting down and almost to a stop, they would turn the fuel back on during that last bounce and the engine would start back up in the other direction. Ive ALSO seen it where the engine is actually RUNNING, but at ZERO RPM's.... the engine woukd actually fire, but not strong enough to make it over the compression hump, and it would just sit there and keep doing a half a revolution back and forth, and never complete a full 360° turn.. lol

1:00:38... Ah, the Shockwave. I've seen this truck run many times at my local dragstrip. It's pretty DARN fast for a huge Semi. One time, while it was warming up and blowing huge flames out the back of it behind the starting line, it lit the staircase and bridge that goes over the track to the other side of it on fire...🔥 The track officials just let it burn until the truck was done with it's show, and made it's pass down the strip. It was ok, the staircase and bridge going across the strip is made of mostly metal, it just had wood sides to cover up the metal work, and have a large surface for sponser advertising, and it was the ply-wood that was burning. Was a hell of a show tho... and .any spectators were completely concerned about the fire. It was blazing pretty tall.. 😂
