Can you benchmark cinebench? Reason being is geekbench does not see mulituple threads at all. Logic bench and cinebench do. And this increases the score by 50-100%

Mobo: Gigabyte Z890 UD Wifi6e CPU: Core Ultra 7 265K RAM: 2 x 16 GB PC7200 (XMP1 enabled) My Hackintosh Geekbench 6 - Single: 1737 Multi: 11714 Your Hack Geekbench 6 - Single: 2718 Multi: 18321 My Windows 11 Geekbench 6 - Single: 3220 Multi: 21200 Did you do any further tweaking to boost the CPU performance in MacOS?

This is great, very interesting! I actually like the new Apple silicon because it's crazy fast and consumes so little power, but as always Apple have made it nigh on impossible to upgrade. I'm going to get an M4 Mac Mini, but now I'm thinking this is a great basis for a Mac server and/or video transcoder. I'm super interested in seeing you try this with an AMD5 socket board!

Define "beat". It's difficult to compare CPUs these days as there are so many different use cases. In single and multithreaded benchmarks the new Intel chips beat the M4 Max - but not by much. However, the M4 also has a neural engine and multicore GPU on board (because it's an SOC rather than a mere CPU), so in applications able to take advantage of those it will leave the Intel chips in the dust. And on processing power per watt, there's just no comparison, the M4 will trash any x86 CPU.

Still alive as many of us need to run side by side with Silicon for our occupations. Although the final Intel (non Xeon) machines from 2019 like the 9th gen I-9. How can I get in touch with you to get a RTR box (not due to the ability to order parts and slap together, I would just like something ready to run) . I think the only thing that’s suffering in the hackintosh builds now is the GPU - you just can’t get a powerful GPU in there any more.

rx 6600 xt is supported out of box for hackintosh. and old intel cpus too.

the cpu on apple silicon macs are really powerful but hackintosh is still alive you put an ultra 9 with all the towers a beautiful fractal case we are at $2000 WITH POSSIBILITY OF UPGRADE and gpu support or have a poor mac studio but when macOS stops supporting intel x64 it will be over after 25 years everything will disappear too bad
