Didn't work for my wife and I in Imessage. No current location arrow shown in the video at 1:21, although I can get it with the +, then choose location, then choose how to send it. Problem is, it doesn't show the exact gps location, it just links to a map. I'd prefer an exact gps location so it can be looked up with any software emergency personnel have available. Raw GPS data is better if on a trail in the woods.

The "-> current location" option only appears when using the text replacement feature IF the person to whom I am sending it has an iPhone.

Tried the above "iPhone Trick" on my iPhone 12 Pro along with my wife's and Grandsons, but none of them will show the Location. All phones are up to date with the lastest software and Location Services are turned on. When I hit current location, it shows Request or Share on the map, instead of Send. Are we doing something wrong?

Does not work with my 2 daughters, we all have Iphones . Share My Location is checked and there names are listed as always share my location. it just shows a map ,not the exact gps location. I have a 15 and they have 13's. What gives?

The 'my current location is' text string does in fact bring up the one tap send option... but in reality, silently fails to do anything.
