I switched from the Note 10 Plus to the S24 Ultra, and wow🤯, there's so much tech and features in it. The adaptive battery settings🤯, even with its battery protection! And the Wireless Dex🤯? It's crazy! And how no one talks about Ai anlizyng (option)your text before sending it and fixing mistakes or making it super professional. Or the little base speaker we got in a phone!

I have to admit that iPhone/MAC integration is pretty sweet. I bought an old SE 2020 for development and testing but I've been playing with it for average usage and I'm very impressed with the seamless connection and storage synchronization with MacOS. But I'll still use Android because Dex Mode or Ready For (Motorola) are quite useful when I don't want to carry around a full size laptop.

But the screen flicker of gallaxy s24 ultra is more dangerous for eyes than apple. And even apple has display flicker less than 500 hz which is still very bad for eyes. Chinese and Taiwanese phones give 2160 hz or higher pwm flicker in all amoled display phones. Asus rog has DC dimming in amoled. Ips and pls screens are definitely superior than any oled when it comes to safety of eyes.

@@onuraagz I know what are you saying but it's happen only when you are using ultra dim brightness in smartphone and Samsung already have some eye safety parameters in their screens i have read on their website, i don't know about iPhone because it doesn't mention in brief on their website , and flickers doesn't matter after certain brightness and no one will use smartphone on ultra low brightness in night because it doesn't matter if it's flicker or not but it's dangerous for eyes that's why night light provided as colors not visible clearly in low brightness but because of night light it provides the yellowish background to clear visible the content without strain on eyes, and remember iPhone uses oled instead of dynamic amoled, oled can be dangerous for eyes rather than amoled because amoled produces natural contrast and colors while oled panels lack of it and yes if you have iPhone then you'll definitely notice eye strain if you're scrolling in low light but Samsung doesn't feel like this, I think you need to test it out in real life, I have seen s23 ultra, S23 plus and believe me it's feel like heaven the gorgeous screen, you will never complain about screen, and flicker is new technologies so it's need to be more highlighted if it useful, may be in future these companies can implement it

Phone batteries are going to degrade/die in 4-5 years, or capacity will be ridiculous, you'll have to carry a powerbank everywhere you go. Solid points; let’s not forget though that until recently, Galaxy updates were very short-lived. The updates also only come to the high-end ‘premium’ phones first (because Samsung has a lot of models) and is available to some regions earlier than others (not that it’s a bad thing, just noting). From my experience also, Samsung intentionally discriminates (I think that sounds too harsh) against certain markets. Perfect example: my A21s (budget phone, I know. That’s all I could afford) made for African markets hasn’t got NFC capability although Samsung clearly advertised that. Cheers to Samsung though. I have always admired their innovation! Misleading video. For example, on the number of years of update, Samsung has no track record in providing so many years, this assumes batteries will be available for replacement, and the video leaves out the slow and delayed update. Just look at how things have panned out with Android 14 and One ui 6.1 for older smartphones

Just don't expect the battery to last the whole day if you're using even half of the features. Just switched from Galaxy S22 to Pixel 9, and already I'm getting a much better experience, with more features, in nicer feeling phone that lasts me all day and then some. I've been a Samsung fanboy for years, but I'm in the process of selling all of my Galaxy devices to switch to Pixel for everything but my tablet (nothing beats the Tab S series wacom digitizer with s-pen.)

I will agree Samsung does have a lot more innovative apps but the problem I had with them that completely turned me off from them since the s10+ was they don’t last long after 2 years my phone was constantly bugging out and being very laggy opening simple apps was becoming a problem

That's an android problem not a phone problem. My note 9 hasn't had a single update since new because its Verizon not on Verizon so still on launch version android 8. Battery lasts just as long as it did when I got it, no noticeable difference and no slow downs. I recommend you uninstall all your android updates by factory resetting and feel the difference. They try to slow your phone down. Samsung does it, Apple does it, they all do

I'm about to buy an iPhone because there's no phone out there I want to buy. Samsung's are full of ads. The settings aren't designed intuitively so you need to study the damn thing. You have two stores to check for app updates. I asked our IT guy at work to switch from Apple to Samsung two years ago and I regret the decision even though I never had an iPhone myself.

Bought a Samsung note back in the day, i broke my screen and it was costing me a ton and that time i was considering to upgrade so i gave that phone to my brother. He literally used that phone to attend all his school zoom classes during corona using dex mode. That phone still works till this date , its like 5 yrs since the screen was broken.
