I think you should mention the USB-C power delivery which is up to 140 W on this monitor, which might motivate that bulky power supply a little. :) This is really nice for my work MacBook which wants up to 96 W. But if the KVM switch doesn't work well I can't use it as planed which will be switching between my desktop PC and the MacBook. :( I hope the KVM gets improved in a firmware update.

Did you get one for your MacBook? I am tempted to get an OLED for my Mac, currently using dual Apple Studio Display.

The LG OLED one looks so clean like there is no branding in front if you put it in a monitor mount.

Except...The LG has the shortest warranty of all these OLEDs, Only 2 years as of now versus the 3 year on all the others

I have a question, I was trying to update the firmware but somehow it says something is unable to communicate with the device. So which port did you connect to the USB? I have seen a lot of people having the same issue

This is exactly what i was looking for since this monitor is on a sale at Best Buy often with like $200 off retail. Do you know if the monitor offers Dolby Vision support and also the reason for the massive brick is due to HP offering AIO USB-C PD port of 140 watts to support their newer line up of Transcend gaming laptops that also offer the OLED displays integrated. I own the Laptop for work and they require 140 watts of power minimum which is where the 140 comes from for the panel.

Thanks for watching! I don’t know about the Dolby vision support, sorry. The 140w power delivery could definitely be a reason for the bigger brick, that is more power than most other monitors put out. Wish it could have been an internal PSU, but they’re already battling heat output on these QD panels.
