$10 for the Antec SOLO and ASUS P5Q rig? Amazing deal. All that baby needs is a quad Xeon and a cheap 7870. I'm loving the business model you've got going on here. I was doing something similar here in Canada for like 4 years buying underpriced components, building sick budget rigs and then selling them. I never thought to film it and make a KZbin series, though. Genius stuff buddy.
@roberttrifts27378 жыл бұрын
+spire107 Unfortunately, with the popularity of Scrapyard Wars and now this channel, there are already several people in Toronto doing exactly that via Kijiji while attempting to make money on it and pay the rent with their profits. And yes, a few in Vancouver doing it already as well. Linus bought his system for the recent SYW Season 4 from such a reseller. The train hasn't completely left the "Used PC Gaming Builds 4 Cheap" station -- but it's definitely pulling out.

If you're building for shits and giggles, I suppose taking a $5 power supply off of a shelf and trusting it to deliver its rated wattage is fine. I would never, ever recommend that any one of my own subscribers do that, however. If you want something reliable for something you intend to use on a regular basis, you need a thoroughly tested and vetted unit. Not all units that are "rated 80+" and have shiny black housing with half-decent sleeving are good units.
