Imo I don’t consider fisch an rng game. The only aspect that is fully rng is the appraiser and most players never use her. The fisching isn’t fully rng as diffrent areas have different loot which also makes the quests more engaging than just clicking. Its even more fun with friends cuz yoy can buy a cool boat and explore the honestly pretty cool map

the thing is, rng games didn’t even start with sols, me personally, gambling started with rex reincarnated back in 2022. Although that doesn’t even start the rabbit hole that is Roblox rng games, it goes back years and years, sols rng was just the first mainline one, it’s been a genre for years. (imo sols rng getting popular was the reason why it’s gotten so bad, sols rng was actually a decent concept back when it was released, as it was mostly a cool effect showcase)

I mean I like your opinion, but tbr with you as a 16 year old, I love fishing in real life as well. Naturally different bait also makes it easier to pull more fish. It's so fun as you wait there, just waiting to actually pull some fish. I know it sounds so boring and stupid but it's so calming and actually a really nice experience. I think alot of the players as it doesn't take as long, like the idea of catching fish and being able to sell it for money, less because of the rng side of luck and shi. This same system was in multiple games like the luck booster on the rod to catch fish in arcane odyssey, which tbh i loved cause it gave abit of realism. fisch is still an rng game imo, the core AND ONLY aspect of the game is basically sols rng with extra (ripped off) steps. Look at fishing sim for example, while the fishing is also rng based, the game has other aspects such as quests for unlocking special fishing areas, shark hunting, boss fighting, aquarium and all of that what makes it a TRUE game

In my opinion you here that guys MY OWN OPINION fisch is a better game then sols rng and i gues the logic with random numbers=rng game that’s saying any game like blox felt where there is a CHANCE for drops and matter of fact any rpg game on Roblox is a rng game. But back on the topic of fisch those “extra steps” make it a mile better then the slop that is sols rng (im not gonna lie i play that daily i love gambling) fisch doesn’t allow you to walk away and fish you actually have to be engaged into the game in order to be good at it. And for the carbon copy situation let’s see- a dusty trip, sword burt(sword art online), any Friday night funking game. The point is there always won’t be some MASSIVE Burst of inspiration from a person or a team of devs most ideas have already been taken or just aren’t creative enough to turn into a full fledged game.
