Great work! Do you know if these sole protectors squeak on wood floors or tile?, because I have a pair of vibram Red Wings that squeak bad on certain floors and I’m looking for a solution.

It just has to do with the type of sole on the boots. Some guards don’t typically squeak.

Just wondering since I’ve seen you do it a couple times. Why do you wrap the shank in the blue tape?

Keep the moisture out as long as possible. This keeps the shanks from rusting and breaking prematurely.
