Examining killers who gained public notoriety when their crimes whipped up a media frenzy. The unnerving psychology behind murder has long been source material for television, books and movies, but why do certain killers capture the attention of millions?

The word "horrific" isn't even the word to qualify what this very sick evil "man" did.

Pretty sad how everyone knows the name Ted Bundy but not the names of his victims, the same with any serial killer.

Any serial killer that wasnt caught,is because of incompetent police work,so many cops and detectives...to catch 1 man...its not normal,and the way he was allowed to " represent" himself in court..absolutely disgusting,how he " enjoyed" listening to a victim tell in detail what he did to her..your judicial system is the most screwed up in the world..😡

@k7 wtf is up with you? Kimberly was the youngest by some years and only twelve years old. As terrible as every one of these crimes were it's always especially tragic when a child so terribly has their life taken away. I'm sure that's what OP meant but you've decided to go nuts like this, really off of you.

@@user-dz2si4fb6g That's why I have doubts with all the people who were close to him. How could they listen to him and he looks a guy who flatters stories with his scary eye looks? Not because we're not charming but didn't they know how to read his body language or no?

Dear heaven, I think I would've helped him, he had a presentable appearance and a man who presented well with a disability would make young women easy prey. My only saving grace would be I was trained in self defence. We didn't get a lot of coverage that I remember of these horrors here in Australia. I'm only going down the rabbit hole now in 2024.

Yeah - people in these comments claiming he looked “evil” are just speaking with the benefit of hindsight. The guy was completely inoffensive-looking and I think most people - male or female - would initially feel at least some compulsion to “help” him if he approached them. No shame in admitting that.

Hated women . Brutal murderer. They dont rven know how many he killed for sure. Escape artists. Finally got him locked down and convicted. He died by order of the court. Brought closure for some. Others will never know what happened to the missing women.

There is no evil here. These expressions happen all over the world, and are the product of a toxic society. The sooner we quit crying evil and take a hard look at our social dynamics, the sooner we can put a stop to these events.
@Me_G.
@Me_G. Жыл бұрын
😳 Sounds to me like you belong to one hell of a dysfunctional society to harbour such a deflective indifference fronting an embodiment of evil like Bundy. Social dynamics, certainly not Bundy's, did not make him who he was. It was his deviant psychology and personal choice to stray afar from his functioning society's social norms; i.e get an education, obtain a job, paying taxes etc., that had driven his depravity.
