For me the best part of that speech that Roy gave to Rebecca about how she deserves to be with someone that makes her feel like she got hit by "f**king lightning" was that he also said it front of Keeley. So, now Keeley knows that is how Roy feels around her, because they're together.

To me the best part of the Christmas episode is the huge turnaround for Higgins with the team. In the first episode, when he's down meeting them after practice, they treat him like he's not even there, and he mentions that usually only about 2 members of the team turn up for his party for ex-pats. Here, almost the entire team shows up. It's so good for him.

My fav episode is Rainbow. Cry everytime. They set it up with Higgins describing how he met his wife and the meaning of the song, as happiness. Then Roy going towards his happiness as the song plays. It's fucking great.

The Christmas episode and another later this season (if you've seen it, you know which one) was added because Apple at first ordered 10 episodes this season, not 12. When they ordered two more, rather than risk stretching out the story they had planned, the writers did episodes that work more as standalones

I'm still extremely proud I guessed Sam/Rebecca very early season 2. I watched an interview with Hannah, where she talked about things being foreshadowed in season 1, and that Jason had told her to act certain way around certain people, which was setting up season 2 -- then I went back and watched all of Rebecca's scenes. Sam and Roy are the only ones who greet her in ep 2. Sam in ep 6 complimenting Rebecca while she thinks he's flirting. In episode 7, Sam takes Rebecca's jacket (really cutely!) when she's about to sing. In episode 10, Rebecca sits next to Sam and smiles at his 'be a goldfish' answer. This show is SO GOOD with foreshadowing. I highly recommend a rewatch once you're done. It's so worth it. Also yes Ted drinks a lot. In season 1-2, there's like three scenes where Ted COULD be drinking (evening, not at work, where alcohol is available) but isn't. At some point I did a count of all the alcohol units he's shown to drink during s1-2, and IT'S A LOT. I have more comments but I don't want to go near spoilers. But yes, it's worrying, and he definitely uses alcohol to deal with his anxiety. And yes I adore this show, in case that's not obvious.

Always has to be pointed out - Hannah Waddington is a West End star and, being the good actor that she is, she decided that even though she's a professional singer Rebecca isn't. Great, heartfelt reaction. I have attended 1,770 Football matches mostly in London. Richmond is one of 32 London Boroughs and is very affluent in Outer South West London. These football clips are filmed at Crystal Palace Football Club in South East London, who will finish 12th in the World's greatest domestic league and a relegation costs $240,000,000 per season. There are 4 main English divisions and next week Coventry City have to win one more game to reach The Premier division and complete 3 Promotions from the lowest league where 5 years ago they were 20th/22 and on the verge of losing their league status. Regardless of who wins the playoff final it will cap a momentous story. Luton were on the brink after being relegated to non league and with one win would join Bournemouth, who sat alongside them at the bottom of league 2 with negative points, at the start of the 08/09 season. Football can really tell the greatest stories.

Great reactions and I love watching this season again right after watching the reactions to the first season so I can be reminded of all the callbacks we're seeing in the current and ... (chokes back tears) ... last season (imagine those last two words as if I said them with a sad quiver in my voice). Also, you absolutely need to see the film "Once". An independent Irish romance that's a musical, but not in the normal way. The two main characters are actual musicians so they sing and play together during the film. One of my absolute favorites and, based on your shirt, it might be one of yours. Okay, now I have to wait for the next "Firefly" episode to get me through to the next "Ted Lasso" episode; rinse & repeat.

The goal Jamie scores in the FA Cup match vs Spurs is a recreation of a goal scored by Cristiano Ronaldo in a Champions League (the top teams from each domestic league in Europe plays in a tournament to be the champions of European club football during the time of their regular domestic seasons, so like playing in 2 leagues at once) match. Jamie even does the same taking a few steps back and dragging his foot motions. During filming they'd figured the actor (Phil Dunster) playing Jamie would try some kicks and they'd end up doing a CGI of the football flying through the air and into goal. Phil made the kick IRL. Brendan Hunt (aka Coach Beard, and also a writer/producer) immediately ran into Video Village to rewatch it. There was a video of it out on the interwebs, as I saw it, but now when I look I can't find it. They did their match day scenes at the grounds of what is basically a 'sandlot' club, so it looked loads different than the TV version where they CGI in the crowed and stadium. Still was cool to see Phil really make that kick.

"park the bus" is a figure of speech describing a super defense formation, where basically everyone on the team defends inside the own box to block out any chance of conceiving a goal and get a chance for a counter attack as it happened in the game against tottenham. means they are defending as if they parked their team bus in front of the goal :D dont know if needed but clarified anyway :D

The two things with Nate are… 1). He’s new to coaching and is still shaking off being kitboy. Nate needs help to be a better coach. Jamie recognises he needs help to improve his game, so does Nate with his coaching, but the other coaches aren’t really giving it. 2). Sometimes he’s not getting the respect off his fellow coaches who sometimes treat him like he’s still kitboy. Your reacts really bring that across. Great editing.

Most modern stop motion is just plasticine dolls, not Clay so technically, you’re right it’s not “claymation”. Although I suppose it’s possible, it could’ve been done with clay, but I highly doubt it. OMG watch it’s a wonderful life it is an absolutely awesome movie.
