I have always appreciated how comic police each other, but it’s clear to see how pettiness and ego play a huge part in who did and didn’t get on in the 90’s & I think that’s what frustrates so many of the people that weren’t able to really break through. But people in general don’t like to acknowledge how important “luck” or just being in the right place and right time factor into success

@beinghappie76542 жыл бұрын
Exactly! He had all the talent but a cocky attitude. People don’t like to deal with difficult people. At his height he was damn good but at that time comedians were a dime a dozen trying to catch their break- who would take direction so who you think the big wigs going to back? Just saw him perform at a rinky dink club in VA. Still funny as heck but lightning rarely strikes twice. Also, the questions Pierre asks surrounding the rumors regarding TC, and his behaviors, well, there is most likely some truth in them because everybody can’t be lying. Wish him the best but he seems to be still in denial regarding the role he played in his career stalling and not taking off. Has to be humbling to be back playing clubs and venues where he started.
