Great video. Sad to see him go at United. A very intelligent player. This may be random but I like how you don't do lots of please subscribe and that at the end. Flows nicely, though if you change your mind and start doing that I won't stop watching and neither should anybody else! Keep up the good work.

Growing up as a Spurs fan, Sheringham and Anderton were my footballing idols. I based most of my play style around both of them, well i don't know if i was really actively copying them but i certainly identified with their styles of play. I used to be a natural midfield workhorse like Anderton but i had at least a little skill and talent for my age and i always loved helping to set up other players around me. I miss those 90's days of football, so many great players and characters, iconic teams, and i feel the 90's into the early 2000's was the most exciting time for football. Anyway I'm glad Sheringham got to win some trophies, he more than earned them and deserved them, and he was definitely a world class player, obviously not at the highest elite echelon like Ronaldo and Zidane but certainly i agree that, he's always been underrated.

great video. I love those creative strikers like Dalglish, Beardsley and Sheringham. Klinnsmann and Shearer certainly played well with Teddy and I am sure these 2 great strikers rate him. No pace but able to play at top flight for so long. His lack of pace is relevant as he was intelligent, had great vision and touches...link up play is superb. Can finish with either foot and greater header of the ball. All these strenghts render his lace of pace irrelevant.

I never rated teddy then years later I realised I know nothing about football he was fantastic player & under appreciated & what separates teddy from your typical England player was he played with his brain like in euro 96 against Holland gazza crosses to teddy now every one would expected teddy to shoot but he just rolled it shearer who hammered it in

Sheringham being overlooked is insane 😂 He was a great striker. If anything he took advantage of his position. He was the successor to Peter Beardsley. Fowler said he didn't get an England cap until he scored 100 goals and to this day, no one scored has 100 goals faster than him. Cole was a phenom at Newcastle and he got 15 caps. It took the greatest striker in PL history until 2005 to break Ian Wright's Arsenal scoring record and he was 28 when he signed for Arsenal and Wrighty only got 33 caps. Sheringham was great but lets be honest. Shearer was so good back then and he was the 9. and in spite of us having some of the best 9's in the world at the time England was all about having one 9 and Sheringham was the best 10 so he got picked ahead of them.

Anyone watching Spurs in the 90s knew Sheringham is the man to watch. Can't blame him for going to Utd really. What's he to do? He's 30 and Spurs don't seem to be going anywhere. The same with van Persie a decade down the road with Arsenal.
