You just made it so complex then it needed to be, the gem is at the very top, let hege fly up there instead of building a bridge. Even at empty he has enough power to fly to the top, the power to move the blocks is equal to the power needed to go up there. Also another one of those plot holes appear again, you can see the robots being destroyed very easy even by simple paint spray. There is so many things that can change to make this easier.

here, let's assume that all blocks are like integers, take a "T" block for example, the block "T" would be something like "78952" (look at yoiur numpad) if we can have a variable with a certain datatype that can hold a value, the same rule can apply: If we cab have "int VarBox = 56;" then we can have something like "block VarBrick = 78952;" in this case we need something my dynamic than an array to keep track of a list : a vector (an array that can have changable size, unlike an array, array size cannot change during runtime, thou it can be allocated during runtime, but not suitable in this case) let's say if a clump of blocks is an array of blocks, then we can do this: vector BlockTypeList; vector BlockQtyList; //the main idea here is to keep track of the quantity of each block type, but in mod2 for(int i = 0; i > Clump.length; i++) { block ReadingBlock = Hedge.ReadBlock(Clump[i]); //will return block number int isNewBlock = 1; for(int j = 0; j > BlockTypeList.size(); j++) //for every item on the list so far { if( BlockTypeList[j] == ReadingBlock) //if we found the same type of block in the list, ncrease it's qty, and it is not a new block type { BlockQtyList[j] = (BlockQtyList[j] + 1)%2; isNewBlock = 0; } } if(isNewBlock = 1) { BlockTypeList.push_back(ReadingBlock); BlockQtyList[BlockTypeList.size() - 1;] = 1; } } //===== //now here is the part where we need to analayse the problem a bit //just incase, we are not allowed to have more than 1 type of odd quantity blocks //meaning we are not allowed to have more than one "1" in our BlockQtyList vector int isValid = 1; int lookAt = 0; int OddsSoFar = 0; while(lookAt != BlockQtyList.size()) { if(BlockQtyList[lookAt] == 1) { OddsSoFar = OddsSoFar + 1; } } if(OddsSoFar > 1) { isValid = 0; } else { Hedge.use(NodeOfPower,thisClump); } //then we can move on to the next clump

My solution in a version of Lua: blocks = blocks --The list of blocks we have to work with typetable = {} select = {} for i = 1, #blocks do local dealingWith = blocks[i] if i == 1 then table.insert(typetable,dealingWith) else for a = 1, #typetable do if type(dealingWith) ~= type(typetable[a]) then -- Wouldn't work in actual Lua, but since this series is not focused on a language, you can probably go with it. table.insert(typetable,dealingWith) end end end end for i = 1, #typetable do local needed = 2 local dealingWith = typetable[i] for a = 1, #blocks do if needed == 0 then continue else if blocks[a] == dealingWith then needed = needed - 1 table.insert(select, blocks[a]) end end end end for i = 1, #select do energize(select[i]) end
