Eric Krasno, dude, did you leave your body behind here? What a wonderful soaring solo on one of the best instrumental songs ever written. Bravo!!

I LOVE this band. I was first introduced to Tedeschi-Trucks Band 7 years ago when they appeared on the Crossroads Guitar Festival 2010 DVD and they did "Midnight In Harlem." The entire band exhibits great musicality and it's my pleasure to hear them again here.

First time I heard "Curse Lifter" I thought how much it reminded me of this. Had no idea they played together and did this version. Awesome stuff.

Don't think I've ever see Krasno play any Strat style guitar before.he's the perfect player to add to this type of jam always tasteful licks,and leaves space for the rest to shine through.a lot like Derek in that aspect.

Thats John Mayers new signature Silver Sky. Mayer recently sent it to Krasno as a gift and it has become his go to guitar for the past year. I asked Krasno about it on his recent Instagram Live.

Best intro to this song I've heard. The first three minutes alone are sublime. These two play like twins, twining and complimenting, leading them following. Derek is Derek, but first solo on this tune takes the back seat just a bit...Gabe Dixon is off the charts. Great addition, would like to see him stretch more. Krasno is beyond words. Percusión/drum is awesome. The band bass drums esp) is an inferno.

Funny how ppl made fun of PRS and John Mayer when the Silver Skys first came out and now I am seeing them everywhere and Krasno has been using it primarily for the past year. Say what you will about Mayer but he knows guitars
@jmdbb5 жыл бұрын
They're great guitars but I'd bet money Mayer gave this guitar to Krasno. I doubt he went out and purchased it.
@bluesriot25 жыл бұрын
methinks he was born holding one lol

jmdbb Mayer did give it to him. Last summer. I asked him about it on Instagram live a few months ago and he told the story. Its still says something when Krasno decides to use it for over a year now as his primary guitar.

Amazing guitars. Anyone wants to dog JM, PRS, SILVER SKY, or anyone playing them is jelaous, a hater or just ignorant. They play so well--my old girlfriend's late father used to have a 1962 Strat and the Silver Sky was as close to that as I have played. That was the idea. Krasno is an amazing talent. But TTB could be tightest touring outfit going, not to forget Zappa Plays Zappa, and JRAD, of course.
