We should care as much about having more women in economics as we do about having more men in sociology.

"On his father's side, Keynes is of English descent, and is the grandson of physiologist Richard Keynes, the nephew of two Cambridge professors, the historian Simon Keynes, and the neuroscientist Roger Keynes, the cousin of Catholic writer and apologist Laura Keynes,[6] and the great-great-nephew of economist John Maynard Keynes.[7] His great-great-great-grandfather was naturalist Charles Darwin. Keynes' great-grandparents were Nobel Prize laureate Edgar Adrian, 1st Baron Adrian and Hester Adrian, Baroness Adrian.[8] On his mother's side, Keynes is of Lebanese, Persian and Turkish descent.[9] His maternal grandfather was Lebanese writer Cecil Fadlo Hourani, who was an advisor to the late Tunisian president Habib Bourguiba. The Hourani family were immigrants to Manchester from Marjeyoun in southern Lebanon. Cecil's two brothers were Albert Hourani, a historian of the Middle East, and George Hourani, philosopher, historian, and classicist.[citation needed] His maternal grandmother, Furugh Afnan, was the great-granddaughter of Bahá'u'lláh, founder of the Baháʼí Faith, making Skandar a great-great-great-grandson of Baha'u'llah.[10] The nickname Skandar is Proto-Iranian[11] for the Greek name "Alexander", or is short for "Iskandar," an Arabic variant.[12]) Lebanese nationality law states that citizenship is passed on patrilineally, so Keynes is legally a foreigner in the country he considers his second home." this is her brother but they have the same parents so it applys to her

Interesting analysis, thank you very much for all the work you put into the presentation! I know it is egoistic, but as a man in economics, I hope this bias toward men kicks in soon. I kinda need it haha

Why are there so few women brick layers?

In summary, she can't really explain the gap but she thinks it's based on bias. She quotes "Harvard" and "Cambridge" allot, probably to add weight to her view. She may very well be right, but you shouldn't really be making these claims on a large public stage, without something more concrete.
@julioaviles32212 жыл бұрын
This thing here is that theres a lot more evidence to show that her theory is correct. The sources she cited were a bit loose to use as concrete evidence but its more than the opposing opinion that its a woman’s preference.

Nice talk. Now why are you not a tenured proffessor at one of these univerities? Could it be that you chose that was not your prefered career path? I think that correctly answered your question.

Secondary answer, ladies are to have their own thing that is similar to Economics, under a different name in ways that men, oddly enough even with men’s simplicity and complexity cannot create or (ready for a new English word for the women and the women alone? Because here it comes) cevelov (old English masculine synonym is develop, oh and do not forget there will be more new English words to correct all this mess, etc) as women in single or women in plural. 💙💙🤍🤍🇺🇸🤍🤍💙💙 My IQ and EIQ (emotional iq) is maximum 168. Answer, because the women started something similar with a some other name before and failed to stop trying to do it like the men do. FLAWLESS ANSWER. Really? Well pretty much. 💙💙🤍🤍🇺🇸🤍🤍💙💙 after the earth planet and world
